Fans representatives are often merely self-appointed representatives of nobody but themselves who like us all may huff and puff but have somehow arrived at the impression that their opinions count for more than others. Usually claiming a quasi-democratic mandate from fellow fans, some of them tend to be back-bedroom closeted Billy No-Mates nerdy types seeking respect of some type from their self ordained position of assumed importance. Very rarely do their words result in deeds, and ironically a certain strain of this species of "fan representative" have little involvement with physical support of the club, ie actually going to games etc. I'm in no way inferring that this might be the type characterised by whatever the make up of CC-Mad is, I honestly don't know, but I just thought it was worth striking a cautionary note for the benefit anyone holding their breath for Self Ordained Fan Representative bodies to save the day.
