The debt is 43 years of a lease
HRC ,43 years on the Lease?/
If SISU aren't interested than the 27,000 who were at Gillingham can chip in £100 each and we'll buy it ourselves.
Actually... is my memory failing me, or did the trust look into protecting it as a community asset?
I know they didn't in the end, but if I'm not going mad (possible!) what were the reasons for not doing so in the end?
(Not saying they were wrong not to pursue it, btw!)
Is the answer to make a joint offer with Wasps then OSB? In other words, say half each for the Higgs share, therefore Sisu end up with 25% and Wasps 75% of ACL? Although why would Wasps do this when they can have all of it?
Well if they want the club there long term they may not have a choice.
Wasps hold all the cards here, where are the club going to go that will be financially viable?
Sixfields wasn't financially viable but it still happened.
Theres no way SISU are going to agree to be long term tenants at the Ricoh where Wasps own 100%.
Wasps obviously want 100% of acl but maybe sisu could buy the Higgs share out of spite and distress wasps send them to the brink and then buy out their 50% all the time playing at the Ricoh.
Sounds crazy but plausible.
And we came back because it wasn't financially viable. Where are we going to play long term that's a better deal than renting at the Ricoh?
Actually that's a rhetorical question, the answer of course is nowhere.
Haven't you heard? We are building a new stadium in the Coventry area.
There is no way any of us would condemn such actions
Ha I wasn't serious really but you get what I mean. We have to take this 50% but I somehow feel we won't.
