At the planning committee meeting. Wonder if they'll turn up to this one?

Exactly.Would it achieve much if he did? It seems the decision is made although of course I endorse turning up as what's to lose.
I like this and it makes absolute sense, it's just that I'm convinced they don't want the academy,Turn up and put a good case. The planning application might not get stopped but it might force a modification to ensure the football academy is accommodated.
I think we are just being paid lip service. Won't make a jot of difference but would still attend.
I'm not bothered if the planning application gets approved in a form where our Cat 2 academy can still be accommodated.Turn up and put a good case. The planning application might not get stopped but it might force a modification to ensure the football academy is accommodated.
No I would send Venus or mowbray. The football side as they are not hated I don't think and also it affects real footballers and the football club forgetting all the bullshit
They should attend even though it is an absolute hiding to nothing.
The committee will ask CCFC to reference which areas of the CCC local or any national planning policies will be contravened by the Wasps' plan. CCFC will not be able to reference any and the plan will be approved. The council will be straight into its PR partner at the Telegraph who will state that SISU couldn't come up with a compelling planning reason for not approving the £7m Wasps training centre.
He should definitely go, but I doubt it will make much difference.
I don't think the invite is particular giving the club special treatment, I was under thr impression they quite often invite objectors to speak.

Yeah, but OSB makes a good point about the club not having responded to the consultation before the required deadline, so the Council weren't under any obligation to allow them to speak. He should definitely go, but I doubt it will make much difference.

I went and spoke once at a meeting regarding changing our school into an academy - as did a number of parents and even students.
Didn't take a blind bit of notice.
I went to one (Blackhorse Road Longford) (Also mentioned later as CCFC stadium site) where the planners recommended approval for 150 houses. The committee listened to all the objections and rejected it.
The planners advised that it would go to Central Government on appeal and that the original 200 house plan 'would' get approved without doubt.
Ultimately it was thrown out, so it is not always a forgone conclusion.
Did you have to get planning permission for your car park?I went to one (Blackhorse Road Longford) (Also mentioned later as CCFC stadium site) where the planners recommended approval for 150 houses. The committee listened to all the objections and rejected it.
