Does anyone know anything about this? Can't find much info online other than they've been deducted 6 points, had the timeframe for appealing reduced to the point that an appeal is virtually impossible and as a result are out of the play offs.
Can't understand all the new fuss about Ladies Football. BBC TV and Radio 5 are jacking off on it endlessly, obviously they have bought the rights to the World Cup and want to really milk it. Must be such a minority interest - will be interesting to see the viewing figures against how much they paid.

When I was younger, girls hardly ever played football, I knew one lass who could play like a lad and she was a star down the park ! The standard these days has improved no end.
Yes the standard has improved, but the media are in general, too scared - of a sexist backlash - to admit it's still of a very poor standard and awful to watch. Doesn't matter how much they try and force it upon the public, the interest will never be of an equivalent standard to the men's game. A good men's pub team would beat the winners of the women's World Cup, which just about says it all. That being said, it has done wonders for female participation in the sport, so that is a positive.

Has came on leaps and bounds and some technically good womens footballers around now scoring some goals that if one of the top male footballers had scored, would be shown again and again.
Also we had a fair few women playing for our mens side last season players such as Amy Barton in centre midfield for example.

Nobody has a problem with girls playing the game, it's the way its subsidised and over hyped in the direction of people that aren't fans.
The problem is how the women's game is being forced into the football world by the FA and the media as if it's grass roots to the men's game.
Let the sport grow on its own, it's a growing sport that's in its infancy, it needs to set up a structure away from the men's game and let its own market grow with it to make it sustainable.
