Good Afternoon,

I have been reading this forum for the past 18 months but have never posted before. I am a season ticket holder of 16 years.

I was wandering if anyone can help me out their. I have a framed 1996 CCFC shirt signed by the squad that was worm by Eion Jess (Shirt has Jess 7 on the back) and it has never been washed, this shirt still has the grass stains. I was wandering if anyone could advise the value of this shirt.

I also have gradparents who are Leicester (unfortunatley) fans and in 1996/1997 I had to sit with them in the directors box as my grandad was a director at the time and I manage to be awarded a Man Of the Match glass which comes in a well presented box and the glass is engraved the match, the year, the score and the date- Again does anyone have a value on this?

On a football note I believe after a shakey start to the season that we will be in the top 6, I have done research on last season 6th place and we would only need to reach aprox 70-75 points.

I personally would like Dennis Wise as the new coach just because he will not take any grief from the players and also has contact such as Di Matteo for when the load window opens.

Any suggestions to my items above would be welcome.

Obvious fake, no shirt that Jess would have worn in a game for us would have had grass stains.

Anyone can "muddy up" a shirt and sign it Jess - who would argue? I want DNA samples as proof :)

I can 100% say its not a fake as in 1996 I was 8 years old and Jess shirt would not fit. Its Ok if you do not believe me was just asking mate. Sorry to be a pain. Plus I didnt say it was signed by Jess I said it was signed by the whole squad which the shirt is Jess's shirt which he wore.

In the region of £100. A lot more if it was a player of substance.

I agree I was gutted it was Jess I was hoping for Dublin, Mcallister or Whelan but beggers can't be choosers.

You might find the frame will be easier to sell than the top. Get more money for it as well.

Will give you £40 for the frame if you take the horrible, sweaty, musty shirt out of it.

Tom....your shirt isn`t worth a great deal . If not accompanied by a c o a or photographic proof, you have something that is worth more to you because of lack of varification :thinking about:
