Utter bollocks from SISU as usual. I don't think I can take much more of this, football is a leisure activity, not something to be constantly disguisted and furious about. Fuck you and all you stand for, SISU, you're killing this sport for me.

ACL need to quickly come to a business arrangement with SISU/CCFC. If they had done this a year ago instead of dragging their feet the debt would not have built up. In that time the football side of the business has been cost neutral.

Unfortunately without SISU/CCFC there other business's will start to fail hence ACL need to move fast.

Perhaps an agreement would have been reached earlier if SISU hadn't (in my opinion based on what has been reported) negotiated in the style of sulky teenagers, metaphorically slamming their bedroom door every time they didn't get their way.

Ah, a statement from ACL: "an open and transparent, above board, and decent business".

A statement from the club: "A lying, cheating, blackmailing, underhand, thieving bunch of bastards".

Ah, but if that customer directly led to you receiving more than that £1.3million in other sources, Compass deal, sponsorship, car-parking etc then you might think
How much was the Compass deal in catering? Was it paid up front? If so, would they be demanding their money back without the regular sales of a football club in situ?

I hardly think three home games until the end of the season would make much difference in terms of revenue. Definately not 1.3 million in bottom line profit !!!!

We're not talking just three home games though are we potentially?

It goes back to those who say that ACL is viable without the club and those who think it isn't.

Well at what point has any statement from Sisu led you to believe they are prepared to sign any agreement whatsoever ?

In which way are ACL at fault here???.....SISU are the ones who haven't paid a legal requirement(Rent).....SISU have been offered F+B, but have turned the offer down!
SISU have deliberately forced the issue. Yet some numpty's(If the cap fits) say everything is ACL's fault!

The three things I wanted to know are missing from this scribble by Fisher.

1) Confirmation on whether the golden share is held by CCFC Ltd or CCFC Holdings Ltd (though of course it might not make a difference in the outcome).
2) The intended alternative to playing at the Ricoh.
3) SISU's intended commitment to the club from this point.

All else is frippery.

If what he's written is correct they still haven't agreed with the FL where to play the remaining fixtures-surely he wouldn't be so stupid?

Fisher's statement on behalf of CCFC (Holdings) Ltd does not tell us anything much. For example:

Will there be a points deduction or not? If so, what are the details?

Where will we be playing our 'home' games, this season? And next?

Will existing home match tickets and season tickets be honoured?

Are SISU planning to finance the club next season? And if so, when will the accounts be filed and the transfer embargo lifted?

It is deeply worrying that Fisher is unable to provide this information. It is completely unacceptable that, as Chief Executive, he's not telling us because he simply doesn't know the answers himself!!!:facepalm::facepalm:

@ dubed...

1)..The last known statement at Companies House says...CCFC Ltd held the "Golden share" in June 2012(This being the "Company" that the FL know of.) To me this moving of the shares to CCFC holdings. after June 2012. says to me, and "Possibly" to the FSA..."Phoenix-ing"...what do you think OSB?
2)..The FL will not allow this, but if it's been discussed earlier between SISU and the FL...The FL are setting themselves up for a right "Arse kicking"
3)..The only thing that SISU are comitted to is themselves!

It's important to note that technically we're still in a middle of a court case, and any statement would have been approved by the lawyers.

We were never gonna get a full disclosure, and won't until after the litigation has been sorted.

What stuns me is that the club hasn't actually confirmed with the League where it was planning on moving to for the rest of the season. This is an absolutely astonishing lack of foresight and will land us in trouble not only with our own fans but the clubs still to play us.

stupot :You're right is saying that Fishers statement would have to be cleared by their lawyers, but are you saying that you think Fisher does know the answers to my questions, but just can't tell us because of the Court case?

I quote from the CCFC statement:

But following Thursday's decision to place Coventry City Football Club Limited into administration, ACL told the appointed administrators they would require the full rent and licence fee on the stadium to be paid.

This is simply not true.

Neither ACL nor its lawyers have been approached by either the Club, its lawyers, Sisu or the Administrator, nor has ACL or its lawyers approached the Club, its lawyers, Sisu or the Administrator to say that “they would require the full rent and licence fee on the stadium to be paid”.

As the ACL statement said earlier we want the Sky Blues to continue playing at the Ricoh and nothing has changed. As the Club know full well in Administration there is anyway 14 days “grace” during which no rent or licence fee has to be paid by the company in administration.

Thanks PWKH.

It's difficult to know if the appropriate response is to laugh or to cry.

Q. How do you know when a SISU spokesperson is lying?
A. His lips are moving.

The old ones are the best.......

So, let's get this right. ACL - who are nothing to do with the Club we support - make a statement and it's "way to go", "well done ACL", etc etc
The Club makes a statement - that's the Club WE support - and it's bullshit, lies, spin, etc?

The difference is, I think, quite clear. You may not agree with the actions spelt out in the ACL statement, you may disagree with the policy being followed by ACL, you may believe that ACL should be behaving in a different way but you cannot point to a deliberate falsehood. The CCFC statement states as a fact something that is intended to justify their actions, something that is utterly untrue. That is the difference.

To ease your confusion....

I judge people on their actions.

One party has been good enough to come on this site and inform us what is happening. So far I have had no reason to doubt what he says.

The other party, well the less said the better....

Hope that helps.

So if Tim Fisher came on here and gave his version everyone would "like" everything he says as well?

Torch.......you are confusing the club with who we all relate and SISU, two completely different entities. One plays football the other repeatedly tells lies and tries to manipulate situations to THEIR financial gain !

It may be what other posters want but I don't expect it to happen in the slightest; what I would expect though is for SISU to set a level on what they would be prepared to write off and make that the requirement for any prospective new owner to meet.

Do you really expect a football club to start posting on a fans forum?

Some people think their club statement sounds unprofessional so imagine what people would think if they starting posting on here.

Absolutely. Yes. They are multiple millionaire backers who are gambling in high risk stakes. That's what Hedge funds are. They take big risks and sometimes win mega bucks and sometimes lose. I was once in a casino in West Bromwich and folks were talking about a chap who had lost tens of thousands a few days before. Then someone pointed out he was a millionaire many times over. Small change for him and no sympathy.
Frankly SISU gambled money on a failing business ... Tried to sell or mortgage all its assets, briefly tried to buy and sell players at profit, then abandoned that and tried to bully their way to getting revenue streams. They have utterly failed and no one should feel sorry for any money they have lost.
