The CET is running a story that it is Cyrille's 57th birthday today. I'm looking forward to a series of stories every day: Maurice Setter's 48th Wedding Anniversary; Mick Coop's 68th birthday; Exactly 49 years since Willie Carr bought his first car...

When James Haskell's birthday? If CT are true to form it'll be an all-colour pull-out.

To be fair Big Cyrille is the greatest player I've ever seen play for the sky blues. I was gutted when Butcher got rid but I agree it's not a news story.

Gordon Strachan was the best player I've ever seen in Sky Blue, even in his dotage he looked like a man playing against boys.

Clicks on their website = ad revenue. Put something like that on social media and they probably get a fair number of us lot clicking on the link to look at the pictures and / or video.

In the Strachan days I used to go and watch training every now and then. Even when he stopped playing you could see if was still a class above everyone else.

Loved Strachan but number 3 in the oldies to have graced us behind wise and Nilsson for me and probably only on a par with Gary Mac. Blessed with players like that but for every wise there is an ADZ!

I still remember the goal he scored v Everton at Highfield Road (sniff), a powerful run into the box which no defender would dare stop, and a bulldozer of a shot which exploded into the net.

Pace, Power, Goals. A great footballer and a gentleman as well. Happy Birthday, Cyrille.

tomorrow it will be a double page spread on Maddsion passing his driving test

You were wrong, it was a tired old hack telling City fans they are illiterate and don't support Coventry well enough.
