Personally I don't feel we owe Oggy a living and if he was anybody else he'd have been sacked from the coaching staff a long time ago. He may not be a bad coach but the entire club needs a complete overhaul and a shift in culture, and it must be difficult to do that with Oggy still hanging around after all these years. He must think he's untouchable and surely that isn't something Robins wants at the club - no one should be employed entirely on sentiment, and if his presence at the club is holding us back then he needs to go too. A clean broom throughout the club is what we need IMO, clear out the failures and bring in staff who can contribute to a change in mentality at the club and raise the incredibly poor standards we've come to accept over the years.
Glad to see h is gone, it was Thorn's way of bleeding even money out of the club by handing out jobs 'for the boys'.

Whist this is true OSB58, there are always 2 sides to every story, and this time I find it encouraging that the Manager seems to have got what he wanted even after all the "their jobs are safe" rhetoric.
All the other managers have seemed to work to SISU rules, pretty much without a fight, but MR looks like he is taking a different course..... Very encouraging if true.
The report(s) I've read suggest Shaw, or rather the Ass Man position, was made redundant. That being the case I assume the pay-off is a lot less than we may expect. I'm not too hot on employment law nowadays but redundancy tends to pay poorly if your tenancy was short lived. I believe this would prohibit us from having another Ass Man for 2 years too..?
We have to move forward
Absolutely nothing wrong with Murphy , very good goalie at this level. Some plebs still expect a prem standard goalie who doesn't make a single error ..Weird that Murphy gets slagged off time and time again, yet on the other hand we're told that Oggy needs to stay as he does a good job.
Keys giving his negative views again on talksport, nobhead never has a word to say when we win but whenever anything 'bad' like shaw being sacked happens he is all over it:jerkit:
I can think of better ways to reduce the wage bill.......
Step forward Mr Waggot
Whoever chose Robins should stay. They either chose well or were very lucky. Whoever can help us improve should stay. Everyone else should be shown the door and replace as needed.
They got lucky with Robins IMO ...
Didn't Waggot back Thorn over the summer and for 3 whole games? There was said to be an agreement that we would get a certain amount of points at the start of the season.
Didn't Waggot spend forever getting a replacement? Better to make the right decision than rush the wrong man in.
Didn't Waggot screw up with the bonus system? Players were already being paid for losing before he came in.
Didn't Waggot want Ince? Proof?
Didn't Waggot declare whoever came in had to work with the existing staff? Has he seen that Robins knows what he is doing and is now doing all he can to help him? Would you prefer he would have offered him everything and then gave him nothing? I am glad Robins is being backed all the way with what he wants.
Come on the guy's a muppet You are allowed an opinion. Don't mean it is right though. Things have improved since he arrived. That is good enough for me.
