DiMateo set out the perfect game plan in the semi final against Barca and again against Munich. He utilised what he had to brilliant effect and when subs were needed he made them count. Absolute brilliant management/coaching. What a calm character he is too. We have found a brilliant manager here and he should be given this job full time if he wants it. No question. What he has achieved since AVB left is miraculous and should be a coaches study plan for the FA badge.
Hope AT has watched and learned from what DiMateo did with an aging squad and less fancied squad but still win because he was tactically astute and managed the squad brilliantly.
