There is no way that Derby will fold - the efl won’t allow it - they want Wayne Rooney in the Championship he gets more column inches than any other team every day - the DT is obsessed with an article daily

Amazing that there are owners that make ours seem like saints.
it would be an absolute disgrace if it happened
Agreed - they would soar back up the leagues, if they reform. Sell their main players like Lawrence, Knight and Ebosele and they will be a good way there. They will get relegated anyway, but selling their assets and starting again in L1 is better than folding completely. The 3 players I've mentioned are surely worth £15m plus collectively - get HMRC off their back, anyway? Presumably the 'interested parties' could find the remaining funds if so they choose.
Why don’t they sell Lawrence and sibley. You’d be pissed as a Wycombe fan when they could have stayed up last year.Listening to the Guardian Football Weekly pod and Derby are in a bad way. The administrators are doing a really, really bad job and the money owed to HMRC is 20 plus million. HMRC are going to vote down any CVA they can offer.

Sell players sorryThere doesn't seem to real interest.

If they did, a club that size would just come back as AFC Derby anyway.I dont think Derby will fold , too big a club surely to be let slip away

If all middlesboriygh and Wycombe are doing is expecting 100% of what’s owed they are not in the wrong
I'm not sure Middlesbrough's claim for £45m is reasonable personally.
How come? What’s it for?I'm not sure Middlesbrough's claim for £45m is reasonable personally.
How come? What’s it for?
ThanksMissing out on a playoff place to Derby by a point (think it was the Lampard season).
Isn’t the hold up on potential buyers not wanting to deal with the legal challenges? If they go away derby can see out the season - why would they sell for next to nothing?
let’s face it - if they get to feb with no funds the fire sale isn’t going to make a difference - no point in selling players in the hope that you’re still going to the end of the season
It’s a bit like us suing Liverpool because they got to us kicked out of Europe which meant we didn’t have the clout to sign better players and therefore did poorer in the league. How come? What’s it for?
Should have done in my opinionIt’s a bit like us suing Liverpool because they got to us kicked out of Europe which meant we didn’t have the clout to sign better players and therefore did poorer in the league.
Birmingham City fans plan protest march against Championship club's owners
Birmingham City fans plan to protest against the Championship club's owners before Saturday's home game with Barnsley.www.bbc.co.uk
Blues fans protesting about their owners. The apparently have a top 8ish wage bill -
"When you take out the clubs who still have Premier League parachute payments, we're probably in the top five of highest wage earners."
All fans care about is success on the pitch. West Ham are a great example. And ourselves for that matter!
