Calm downBurnley let's face it have sewn the league up. Be surprised if anyone catches them.
Some piss poor stats for Blackburn View attachment 27219
They've not been particularly good all season, their underlying data shows their early season form was never sustainable, dragged up by some great individual performances & more than a slice of luck. I wouldn't be surprised to see them slide down the table.
What does our underlying data show?
I think they need another relegation in a strange wayStoke are going to end up sacking Alex Neil by the new year if they don’t sort their act out
Would be slightly embarrassing for him

It’s the same as when Nathan Jones went there, no improvement whatsoever.
They seem very disappointed with Liam Delap, who a lot - me included , thought was a top, top signing.Stoke are going to end up sacking Alex Neil by the new year if they don’t sort their act out

A physical bully at youth level but looks way out of his depth at this level currently. Just seems to want to fight, commits the most fouls of any player in the league.
The question is... is it just slow to adapt, or is this it? His loan spell, for example, could reduce his value so he might be worth a punt by somebody like... us? as a Gyokeres replacement, if we thought we could improve him and get him firing in men's football?A physical bully at youth level but looks way out of his depth at this level currently. I get what your saying
As generous as they are financially, I am surprised at how naïve the Coates regime have been since Stoke dropped out the PL
If it wasn’t for them bankrolling them I’m convinced Stoke would have gone the same way as Derby
They'd probably still be a third tier side. It's incredible really, unlimited funds every season and they go out and splash millions on the likes of Dwight Gayle. They could easily go for Hamer/Gyo type signings instead.
And to think there were Cov fans creaming themselves over that Dwight Gayle signing. The guy is well past his sell by.
They've been linked along with a few other sides with going for Ryan Porteous from Hibs whose contract is up at the end of the season. Still think we should strongly consider him ourselves. Very good stats for a ball playing CB who's also strong in the air
Ryan Porteous wanted by Stoke as Hibs defender sees transfer interest ramp up into 4 way fight - Daily Record
Who f””king worried about themCalm down
Kompany doing well tho. Pretty passing is way forward and that bodes well for us too.
Good player, needs to sort his disciplinary record out though.

In many ways there are a club with parallels to us.
Manager that did well for them, left, did badly, returned, did well again.
We’ve followed them up the Leagues about a year later.
Similar budget. Seem to have a fighting team spirit at the club.
I though they would be the team fighting us for 5th/6th/7th at season end.
I do think we have one less rival - no matter who they bring in - that team will be plucked of their best players (maybe by Jones, no way he can go back) in January.
Blackburn seem to be a really Jekyll and Hyde team when it comes to home vs away as well. They'll go and smash someone at home 3-0 and then go away to a poor side and fuck it a week later. They've been pretty consistent on that this season.
Following on from this. If you look at the losses column, and compare to draws, and wins. They look even more bizarre. More defeats than most in the league and not a single draw. Need to have a look at their psychology there.

1 place lower. Albeit only a point above Lutonback im the days of 2oints of a win, they would be just above midtable id assume.
3 points for a win is massive. Hence in premier league a draw is like a defeat for most top teams.
Yes simple maths Watford would be above them. They would be 3 points worse off. Back in the days of 2 points for a win.1 place lower. Albeit only a point above Luton
Rob Edwards in at Luton, surprised they didn’t go for Critchley in the end.
What was the Forest Green budget like compared to the rest of League 2, any ideas @Frostie ?Rob Edwards in at Luton, surprised they didn’t go for Critchley in the end.

To late for them IMO. THE worst team we played in the championship. Worse than Brum who were fucking shocking last year, I am amazed that they're competitive this season.Wigan apparently trying to get him.
