"Simeon Jackson, Franck Nouble and Gary Madine are three players who, if they play at their peak, should fire us to the top end of the table. But for whatever reason that has not happened so we need find ways to improve the team."
Does he really believe them 3 were going to fire the club anywhere!!! oh dear, another indication that him and SP do not really know what they are doing.... The 3 of them although have shown potential, but 2 have never shown it week in, week out, which is why they play in L1, Jackson is not going to get back when he was sold for big prem money.. This is a struggling club with people in control who have very little power or knowledge to effect results at any given day..
As for this loan, could work or could be another Sawyer, Henderson or McGeouch, either way its the way the club is operating now so we better get used to it...
What SW is doing is passing the buck!!!!!!!!!! selling Wilson to enable him to bring in these 3 clowns as well as Tudgay, Mc, Coulibay, Hines and Swanson should show you that he has no idea what to do with money or transfers never mind judging players... Clubs are on the same footing as us but yet have people who are doing a better job in bringing in quality,, he has no idea about football that is the point.. If you have to sell 1 to bring in 6 or 7 then at least bring in decent players not the crap that has strolled on the pitch never mind the in and out door...
Probably from Blackpool who we could be playing next season if we survive.
Note to Mr Pressley,Play someone with Madine and loan/buy two flipping wingers !!!
great guyOne of our signings could be Belgian right winger Jonathan Legear - his contract was terminated by Blackpool yesterday. He didn't play a single game for them, so he'll be desperate to get match time. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonathan_Legear
great guy
On 7 October 2012, Legear was involved in a car accident in which he crashed his car, while being drunk, inside an Esso gas station located in Tongeren, having mistaken the accelerator pedal for the brake. Damage costs were revealed to be between €250,000 and €300,000 by an Esso spokesman, with Legear also receiving a two-week driving suspension.[SUP][11][/SUP] He had earlier been involved in an similar incident in 2009, where he was sentenced to 50 hours of community service for having driven his car into a house after a night out.
what pathetic punishments too
Well we certainly cannot have him can we, he might drive his car into every fans car parked in the carpark on match day.. FFS who cares.
Anything to bitch and moan about on here day in day out, anything to slag off any potential signing before they have even signed or kicked a ball for the club.
*picks up a rattle* here I think you dropped this, Your post is much more whiney and bitchy and moany than my post.
There is nothing to suggest we are signing this guy and so my comments had absolutely nothing to do with Coventry city football club, it's not me writing off a signing before they have played. Though I don't think what we need right now is another disruptive person who left a club because of fallings out and is not going to be match fit, having played for Belgium and Anderlecht though is probably a very talented guy and out of our price range even with his troubles. This is probably the sort of signing though that can really pay off if you give a 2 year contract though a big gamble, a short contract though would be folly.
A championship midfielder if he is as good as Prutton was from championship side Sheff Wed or Anton robinson from championship Huddersfield these SISU boys know how to add a few 1,000 on the gate wetting our appetite with a player who can't get into a championship side but will rip through league 1, like premiership player Fonz did last season, can't wait
My post was in reference not to just you but this site in general and how everyone likes to nit pick now and find a negative for anything any other poster suggests not just directed at you, so apologies if caused offence.
I dont see how my post was bitchy though, just maybe having a sly dig at your comments, but meaning its the same old lets put a negative spin on everything we possibly can.

Am I the only one that picked up on the comment by SW "Last season we had Cullen Wilson...he's made the step up to Bournemouth..."
Reinforces what many of us think about the ambition within the club. Our owners now appear to consider Bournemouth a relative glamour - club.

It isn't nothing if it is an indicator of a limited ambition. Step up to The Championship or Premiership by all means but for our senior management team to readily acknowledge that Bournemouth are a step up is even more concerning for me than before he opened his mouth.NO, you won't be the only one, but really it's a case of getting worked up over nothing. Last time I looked Bournemouth were top of the tree and certs to be playing in the Premiership next season.

It's like a kind of "This club is going nowhere. Like it or lump it"

could try playing Nouble in his right position.
Its seems our dwindling fan base still harbours delusions of grandeur. Bournemouth are where they are because they deserve to be. Managed correctly throughout the club, learnt from past mistakes, not living above their means, a positive feel and approach to their club who play attractive football with good players and the potential to make the Premier League, something we can now only dream about or a distant fading memory. Unfortunately the way our club has been managed from top to bottom, we are also where we deserve to be.
