If that's true it will serve them right but if it happens it probably will be applied next season. There's a comment on that article claiming that stoke are heading for a point deduction is that true??
If they didn’t have the money they should sell a player to raise it they are not above that, you never know when you are going to work again so take the money. They're spending all their money they made from being in the Premier League on a new Stadium.
Edwards is just helping them out. Plus he'll probably getting a new job, sooner or later.
An owner with ambition, unfortunately we don’t have oneSunderland have agreed a deal for Le Fee. Loan and £20m if they get promoted. Unreal signing.
Pay peanuts you get league one monkeysAn owner with ambition, unfortunately we don’t have one
They've made some cracking signings without breaking the bank though. Bellingham was £2m, Browne on a free, Isidor on loan, Cirkin for £1m. Yes they've been lucky with having multiple academy products become starters but still. An owner with ambition, unfortunately we don’t have one
Good one Dean Austin and Doug bling, it’s an utter embarrassmentThey've made some cracking signings without breaking the bank though. Bellingham was £2m, Browne on a free, Isidor on loan, Cirkin for £1m. Yes they've been lucky with having multiple academy products become starters but still.
Is that luck?Yes they've been lucky with having multiple academy products become starters but still.
Yes they’re a Cat 1 academy so have to have great facilities and spend a minimum of £2.5m a year on it.Is that luck?
Good coaching and investment in infrastructure, surely.
They would’ve joined the academy when we were still a championship team and at a time where EPPP didn’t exist - which made it harder for other teams to poach talent. Not sure what happened to our academy. We had some cracking players come out while we were in L1 like Wilson, Madders, etc.
£30m a year? No wayI read an article earlier saying they are losing £600k a week so its highly possible
