Not convinced AT will do that, but I can't see we have anything to lose in doing so. At least give 2 or 3 a bit of a run out.

Looks certain that Willis will play in place of Keogh.

Would be nice to see some fresh blood at some point in the game.

With Southampton needing to win? Not sure that would wise, having a load of kids having their first experiences in a professional footballer as a thrashing at Southampton

Didn't say a load of kids, I said a few kids. And probably coming off the bench.

Well that was my thinking.

Paxman suggested playing kids today and most people said we needed to go with the senior players.

Well they hardly did us proud today did they.

Which ones? They're not going to pick up any experience from a tricky away game with nothing to play for. The same could be said for the older players but it's a more traumatic experience to be thrashed as a youngster than as a jaded professional.

Should have made changes today. Bristol were two up, we knew it and I'm sure they did too. At 0-0 you could see Platt and Sheffers were toothless. I would have persevered with Cody and tried a couple of the young lads but it hasn't been his way all season so I don't know why I expected today to be any different.

^ first post since the match I couldn't face logging on for the past couple of hours. Had already resigned myself to us going down today, but that was such a gutless performance that I was completely fed up with them at the end. I actually wanted some of the lads to really give it to the stewards to cheer me up a bit. In fact I was so enthralled in what was going on in the corner that I didn't even know that Donny had scored their second.

1. It's one single game.

2. When would you blood them then if not when there's nothing to play for? Is there a better time to blood kids than when there's nothing to play for I wonder? :thinking about:

I'm sure he'd have made some changes if keogh hadn't gotten sent off.
