He's going down the route of punditry isn't he? I suspect he's just building his knowledge base.
Jan Venegoor of Hesslelink??? Spelling will be off but what a name!Van Wolfswinkell
Beat me to it!Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink
might be a bit old. but what a name !
Seems a good singing on paper but not reality.
He has a great range of passing and can fill the massive gap we have in the set piece department, but I’d worry about his levels of fitness and the short termism of his signing too.
Plus, I believe Westbrooke has the same attributes, and while he isn’t at the same level yet, I’d prefer to see him given a chance to develop those skills.
Saying that, if the salary was low enough then it’s potentially worth a punt for the experience within the squad and to ease the pressure on Kelly as the only experienced centre mid we have.
Charlie Adam ? No thanks lol
Who’s said it’s out of Adam & Westbrooke?Yeah let’s prefer Westbrooke - Christ
Regarding Westbrooke, on the other hand a season with an old head who can step in and give him a rest might be better for him developmentally. I’m sure Maddison learned a trick or two from Joe Cole, even if Cole didn’t make that much impact on the pitch.
Tony or Mickey?Reality check time guys ....
Adams would be a class act in League One. I’m not a fan of his personally but let’s no pretend he would be a bad signing !
He really is.Could be Tony Adams next and hes feckin barking
Whenever i have seen him being interviewed he really does look out to lunch and scary with it tooHe really is.
Correct. I’m sure he never used to be like that? I blame Arsene Wenger.Whenever i have seen him being interviewed he really does look out to lunch and scary with it too

He barely played last season and hasn't featured regularly for the last 3 seasons. According to Stoke fans he's been seriously vulnerable to getting overweight at times, unfit and cost them points rather than providing a meaningful contribution on the pitch. If he's been struggling with his weight and fitness over the last couple of seasons, finding an acceptable level of fitness and controlling his weight won't be any easier at 33 years old. You only have to look on Stoke's forum to confirm this. We're all entitled to our opinions but I'm confused to what you're basing yours on? As there's zero evidence to suggest that he could be a success even if he dropped down a league. He's not worth the risk IMO as you can only spend a pound once and he'd be on a serious wage package even with a cut from his contract at Stoke.
He’s shite...let’s move onReality check time guys ....

he was on that funiest things in football last night where he fell taking a corner and moved the ball a foot with his chest and from that small film i can see he has been eating all the pies in Coventry - handball
Think it’s naivety. Just because he made a bit of a name for himself for a very, very short period. I don’t follow all this “wise head in the changing room” bullshit. We already have that without signing a crap unfit player who’ll add nothing to our play, waste of wages.
tends to get very annoyed against players that are getting the better of him and lash out with awful challenges in which he seems to actual try to injure his opponent.
