I was 11 in 1987. Never liked Keith Houchen or Dave Bennett. And I can't explain why.

Anybody else got any random players they didn't like?

Loads. Never warmed to Houchen, but didn't mind Bennett.

I'll not go childhood, but I was never a huge fan of Liam Kelly. Our skipper who was in L2, captained in L1, nearly part of a team that got us to the Prem and yet I always groaned when I saw him on the team sheet. No idea why, he rarely let us down and everyone else seemed to love him, but I always felt it was slow and pedestrian when he played and didn't offer much as a player or leader. I've grown to accept I was wrong.

Not CCFC, but I never particularly rated Stevie G mostly because he kept shooting from outside the box. Now I’m desperate for any modern player to shoot at the goal full stop.

I think it’s karma

I disliked Roy Wegerle.

He was underwhelming, but it was probably more that we got him and Blackburn got Kevin Gallacher. I did not consider this acceptable.

Noel Whelan pissed me off because he was such a waster.
