What legal action is this between CCFC and Wasps? And why is it that many other businesses involved in legal action can still happily manage to deal with each other? How can a long term deal be negotiated when there is going to be legal action between the 2 parties?
Based on what evidence?A short term 'take it or leave it' deal will be offered if the Legals are still dragging on.
Getting your excuses in early.I guess if it becomes messy the price could go up.
In your opinion Monners and based on the evidence we know who has most to be afraid of Wasps or sisu ?It is not a public enquiry, but a select committee can recommend one. These sessions are designed to tease out info with questions based on what is currently known or perceived - they can't force people to answer, but any answers given can (and) do lead to further investigation - see the questioning of Philip Green and phone hacking as good examples. Green was aggressive and evasive in his approach, but it hasn't gone away for him

I think wasps have more to lose. Everyone hates Sisu anyway and unlike Wasps, Sisu don't seem to care what people think of them.In your opinion Monners and based on the evidence we know who has most to be afraid of Wasps or sisu ?
I am certain his main aim is to break this pathetic impasse but will ask questions The main thing that interests me is will both parties accept or decline a meetingBloody hell, we've now gone from "He's offered to mediate" to "hes going to force them in front of the select committee or do a public enquiry'"?
If it were a select committee and not just mediation, then probably Sisu (not sure afraid is the right word - who has the most to lose), but that's not to say that wasps would come out unscathed. But it would run deeper than just the current issue between these two parties - CCC would be likely to be asked, and Higgs also - who would be the most afraid then? . But the session would be on football governance, and not just our issued (this is only an opinion of course)In your opinion Monners and based on the evidence we know who has most to be afraid of Wasps or sisu ?
He will ask questions but I doubt we ever be told the answers. That's not the role of a mediator, and neither party would welcome talks unless the content of which are remained confidential.I am certain his main aim is to break this pathetic impasse but will ask questions The main thing that interests me is will both parties accept or decline a meeting
Wouldn't know on the costs Nick - doubt it would be millions though. It isn't a public inquiry.A whole thing where SISU, Wasps, ACL, CCC, Higgs etc got put on camera being hammered would be fantastic but it would cost millions wouldn't it?

Wouldn't come to anything like that but if it went to a select committee questions have to be answered and it's in the public domain, no confidentiality agreements. Not sure if public can attend, when the big ones have been shown on TV such as Philip Greene or Mike Ashley recently I think I have seen others there but not sure, now that would be interesting. No, I meant if it was. The same as the Mike Ashley type stuff. I know it isn't going to be, but that would be great if it could be!

Only if we go out of business re BHS, along with other couple of other clubs - but I suspect you are right StuCcfc and Wasps aren't going to end up in front of the select committee IMO. If anything it would just be the FL, FA and PL about football governance.

Questions about what though? That's the thing.
IS it going to be a fully blown public enquiry into the mess, which would be great.
Or is he just going to try and be the middle man between talks.
#clickbaitThere seems to be something going on with the politicians.
The other day the Sports Minister said Damian Collins would be an appropriate man to mediate then lo and behold an offer to mediate is made.
Shortly after the CT runs another story to ramp up the pressure..

Yep - our club (and many, many others) has been run appallingly for as long as I can remember. I think Collins isn't going to let this go - hope he sticks around for long enough. If it's a session on football governance, it would surely be football's regulators in front of the committee
But if Wasps, maybe encouraged by CCC don't do a deal ,then what? What will or can Sisu realistically do.There is no new stadium, leaving Coventry again will lead to a virtual total collapse in income. The legal threats give Wasps perfect cover to refuse any talks, and I'm sure they would be happy to help drive Sisu out with the tacit' support ' of CCC.For CCFC to stay there, Wasps need to open talks though.
He can't force them to do anything, nobody can as like you say they own it. They would be better off saying that rather than all the "legal noise" shite.

but the legal threats don't give them the perfect cover, they said the legals would not stop them negotiating then they changed their mind. The first questions they should be asked are why and at whose bequest? But if Wasps, maybe encouraged by CCC don't do a deal ,then what? They aren't taking wasps to court, they are taking the council to court about thr councils decision making. Regardless of whether Sisu win or lose, it will have little affect on wasps. They can just turn around saying on seconds thoughts they do not wish to do business with someone intent on taking them to court, that is there prerogative unfortunately for us. I guess their problem is JR2, JR1 is both as good as dead in the water and even if it was not it predates Wasps being in Coventry and has nothing to do with them.
Has anyone from SISU commented on why they will not back down from the threat of a JR2 and give the football club a chance of restarting talks?
We have seen the backs of both Waggot and Anderson, is this because of the impossible task ahead?

We know businesses take each other to court all the time whilst continue to working together. Why are you buying wasp's bullshit?

I haven't bought any of sisu's bullshit. Sisu are a bunch of cunts.JR 2 has Wasps as a interested party or whatever the legal term is, so yes they're involved.
Where have I bought any Wasps bullshit? I have said many times they are giving them a get out clause.
SISU are enormous bullshiters, champions league level in bullshitting terms, where do you store all you've bought?
