Since we moved into the Ricoh we have usually shot towards the old CET stand in the 2nd half. With that now empty, is it time for us to rethink this? Can't help but think it gives away teams a bit of a 2nd half boost to be playing towards their own fans. Just a thought.

Change pitch sideways at half time. Shoot at main stand

We've got the second best home record in the league and have won the last 7 games at the Ricoh - doesn't seem to be giving the other teams much of a boost at the moment.....

Are we the only club with no fans sitting behind either goal?

mowbray i think it was who turned us to kick to the south stand in the 2nd half. Worked for a few games, and we were then woeful throughout the rest of his tenure, and throughout slade's and Robins first couple of games
Robins then turned us back around after a poor first couple of games, and out home form has been excellent since
no reason to turn back

I would prefer us shooting down towards the south stand in the second half due to it being close to Singers Corner.

Get promoted and keep winning and that stand will be full.
Thats the solution.

Id prefer to close our stand and open the one behind the goal. Those who prefer a side view can sit on the side the players come out. With less of us, we'd pack the behind the goal stand, but it would look bad for the players when they came out and faced nothing. Look better on tv too as the side we all sit are where the cameras are so it always looks like a reserve fixture.

With crowds less than 10,000 this is definitely a reasonable shout.

However, the current set up works well with crowds over 10,000.

With crowds of 8000 in a stadium that holds 33000 you're always going to struggle
To make it look anything other than dismal, wherever you sit them.

Irrelevant at present, but I've always thought the behind the goal home end should be where we house the away.

Most home spectators access the stadium from that side plus you don't get the sun in your eyes when sat there.

Would move the Jimmy Hill statue to the corner of the ground where the station is too. He should be facing the city he made proud. Horrid having the Wasps club shop as his backdrop.

Fair shout. Pack out the stand where jimmy flag is im asumming it holds 6 to 7 k.
1 to 2 k in main stand.
Leave blocks singers corner open for banter with opposition. Thryre thr only ones who sing anyway. So blocks 13/14/15 home supporters. Leave the away bit behind goal where it is.

Close big main stand blocks between 16 and 24.

Still could get up to 18 to 20 k capacity.

Would look good woth both ends behind goal full assuming decent away following. Or should i say fuller!
