Scholes probably the best midfielder in English and World Football, Bobby Moore, Bobby Charlton, Gordon Banks, Alan Shearer. You can go back in time to find World Class players you know. But then it's all down to opinion

You say he's done well with Wales??? He done what any one of us could of done, pick Bale and Ramsey wherever possible and gee the rest of the squad up to just turn up and pass the ball to Bale!
Says it all when you look at the euros, seen a statement about Robson Kanus goal v Russia, it's the 1st competitive goal Wales have scored in 2 1/2 years that Bale or Ramsey didn't either score or assist!!

So as an england fan I have high expectations so when we don't walk every world cup were 'underachieving' but Wales qualify for their first major finals in 50odd years and they're over achieving? Says everything about that country and the people from it I need to know!! Grow some fucking ambition and stop wanking off a shit manager for taking the reigns of somebody else's squad!

Well yeah, but out of that 50 million, 5 million qualify to play for the Republic of Ireland and a further 10 million for Wales through their grandparents and second cousins twice removed.

By no means am I putting tafs on par with England, we will always be far superior!

No seriously though, I think they underachieve regularly! All the home nations should do much better in competitions than they currently do! Not one of the home nations do as well as they should! Look at that Wales squad! The amount of individual talent in that squad (not including Bale), and they were chuffed to fuck that they even got there!

Look at RoI a few years back! Fans motto 'win or lose were on the booze' almost saying we shouldn't be here so what the fuck! If we don't win we don't care! If the fans think that what are the players thinking?
Now imagine any single German with that frame of mind, he'd be invalided out!!

You can't knock his achievements, but that did used to piss me off. They'd always score in Fergie time and if they were winning, he'd be shoving his watch in the 4th officials face.
