Not as bad a player as you're trying to make out, decent goal scoring record at previous clubs and would undoubtedly improve our squad if he was to sign.
I'm sure someone will be along in a minute with a YouTube clip from 2006 to try and prove you wrong. I agree though, a donkey who we shouldn't be signing.
Yeah i wouldn't want to spend a fair bit of the budget on him, in an area we need a vast amount of improvement so will hope for better. I trust in TM's decisions. I think he is good at finding players he can get the best out of. so i can ignore previous records/thoughts, and believe that he sees what he needs in the players that hes going to bring in.
Think we were strongly linked with him some years back in the Thorn or even Boothroyd days, he became another we couldn't just get "through the door" about time they made that fuckin' door a bit bigger.

I read that Mowbray has an ambition to field an entire team named after beer, so this is one that probably will join. Reportedly, Alfie Bass is also close to signing and he's chasing Lager Lager-Lager to play on leftfield.
Step 1. Set up a Twitter account perpetuating to be someone in the know.
Use a name that sounds reliable, 'FCTransfers' is a good one. Make up a rumour that fans could at least believe. Don't suggest Coventry will be signing Messi for example.
Step 2. Let people Retweet and share said rumour around the internet. This is when the fun starts as the rumour is picked up by fans, forums and publications.
Step 3. This is the sad part where your rumour, because it's usually absolute nonsense, is dismissed by someone who actually knows about these things.
In this case, Colchester United reporter Carl Marston decided to rubbish it on Twitter.
Perhaps this will be a lesson to not believe everything that is posted on Twitter by accounts that have no credence in the slightest. Or not... roll on August."
