Fifth booking for Carsley

Coventry City will have Lee Carsley suspended.

The Sky Blues captain was cautioned in the first half of City's 0-0 draw at Reading on Saturday and as this was his fifth caution, he will miss Saturday's game against Norwich City.

City manager Aidy Boothroyd commented to the CT: "Carso is suspended and will certainly be a miss but we have got Sammy Clingan coming back, or Conor Thomas, or Aron Gunnarsson to go in there and do a job."

Will be interesting to see a Clingon-Doyle combination. If Conor Thomas is as good a Boothroyd's other young prospects then I'd like to see him have a run out.

Couldn't have come at a worse time, we need Carsley v Norwich because they have a very good midfield and we need an experienced head to stop them playing through us.

Big big loss.

Who will Aidy make captain for the day? Probably going to be out of Westy, McPake, Wood or he may choose King?

Yea its a huge blow. Not so bad if Clingan recovers from injury in time though.
Can see Westwood being made captain for the game
