Didn't realise how good the 2nd of Burge's saves was at the time.

Good composure for our goal as well.

Agreed.. arguably Bakayokos composure to pass to Chaplin was the exception to a rather wasteful night in front of goal for us....relieved to not lose and yet frustrated we didn't achieve all 3 points..odd emotions last night at the final whistle?

Good deft touch under pressure by Bakayoko.
I was about to leave but halted on the stairs, glad I did, but in the melee in the penalty area could not see Bakayoko clearly.

We have continued our record of draws against top clubs at home - Stanley, Posh and Sunderland with a loss to Pompey and the one win against Donny. 6/15 points against top six clubs playing at home. Bit of a challenge for the second half of the season (add in Luton). It shows the limitations of this side, so it is a case of consolidation this year and improve the midfield and attack for next year.

On the upside, our record for late goals is getting quite good - Charlton, Wycombe, Southend, Stanley and now Posh in the last 8 league games - maybe indicative of good fitness training and spirit in the camp

You acknowledge that we've been scoring a lot of late goals, but you're heading down the stairs with 3 or 4 minutes of added time left - why would you do that?

16 of our 19 games (including all home matches) have been settled by a goal margin of <=1 with Bradford being our only win by 2 clear goals:

To back up your late goal observation, 38% of our goals have been scored after the 75th minute. While fitness and team spirit may be a part, we concede plenty in the 2H too so it may just be indicative of how tight we keep it in the first half of games. There really are a lot of parallels to this time last season. The fullbacks and Doyle were markedly higher up the pitch immediately after HT on Friday.

No clean sheet for 6 games now either in the league which is concerning when we essentially play a back 5 for much of the game. We ground out a lot of results even on the win streak but every week we seem to have one player who has a stinker - there's still some work to do to get these 11 players playing well as a whole team.
