Not out of choice though im sure..

Where can you see us ending up at the end of the season?

Relegation candidates?
Mid table as usual?
Play-offs?
Cant believe I'm saying this, but...... Champions??????

Cheers,

Well at least we have 1 player I reckon we need 6 new players for promotion. Else I expect mid table.... Harsh truths! I guess I expect the worst and hope for the best.

Exactly, prepare for the worst and hope for the best! I just hope we give it a good go this season, regardless of who we have playing for us. Im fed up of watching half hearted performances.

I'm hopeful if we can manage to get a couple of good signings, its frustrating because its not like we need to spend a tonne of money... Hopefully the cup will be less pressure and we can battle through, its all good fun, plus I haven't been to Wembley yet just in the hope I could see the Sky Blues there first!

Ive been to Wembley but not for City.. obviously! But how proud would you be of the boys, if at the end of the season we lifted that Paint pot trophy! The only thing we can cheer about over the last 20 years+

I have seen City at Wembley twice.......Less of the obviously

I am guessing we will be a top 6 side. we have better players than about every team in the division. The main worry is how many will we still have at the start of the season, and how many players will we get to bring in.

I expect SISU to get nobody in with their excuse being that the transfer embargo couldn't be lifted 'due to important ongoing negotiations over the rent and Ricoh Ownership not allowing them to have a concrete plan'.

This will see more children promoted to the first team and another possible relegation.

Providing we add 2 strikers (3 if we offload platt) and a midfielder of league 1 experience we will be play off contenders.

HOpefully we can brush other teams aside though it'll be difficult to gloss over our current financial problems....desperately trying to get masking tape and turpentine in the sentence but I'll have to give up. There's still too much emulsion for me after our relegation.

I think we're going to struggle...we said the same about coming to the Championship 11 or so years ago...'we've got stronger teams that the majority of the teams in this league' etc etc and look what happened.

What concerns me most isn't the skill levels of the players we have (which does concern me a little) but the fact that we're pretty lightweight in the middle. This is a physical league that we're into now...more about persistance, hard graft and playing hard for 90+ minutes.

That, unfortunately, is not something we're good at. I can't see us signing many, if any, players so I think we'll hit mid-table at best.

At least Clarke has said he's staying. Whether that's his choice or because he had no other options, it's a positive in my eyes.

You don't half paint a bad picture. You should try to gloss over the bad parts to make us feel better.

Some said we would do well.

There is a bigger difference between Champ and Div3 to Prem and Champ. Div3 teams are skint. They have less money to change things. The biggest teams went up last season. We would be hot favourites if we didn't have SISU.

I am not saying we will find it easy. We will find it easier than last season though. We will not be up against better players than we have like last season. We will not be up against teams that have a bench of players that would get into our 1st team like last season.

Not sure about the quality of other full backs in the league but Clarke and Hussey will be one of the best pair of full backs in the division.

We should start our own CCFC Slang. For example, these people who think L1 will be a walk in the park, I would say I think they are "totally Ken" (ie deluded; Ken Dulieu=Delieu-ded).

Well at least we'll be Primed for action,Bell & Baker will be making streaky runs everywhere ,AT will be wearing double layers as two thin coats are better than one thick one .we should be fine so long as we don't get Brushed aside or Rolled over.

You paint a pretty picture, but we all know we can't finish...our form will be streaky at best. There's no glossing over it.

The only way we're getting out of this division is if we sign Billy Painter.

He knows how to stroke the ball into the net.

This is particularly funny, as he's utter crap! The very idea of him stroking a football into the net would have Leeds fans hysterical! Much as it would for us and, oh I dunno, ROD I guess...although even he managed that lst pre-season.
