Gunnar was a kid with no reputation at all when he arrived. Neither were better players when they left than when they arrived, which is my real point.
Perhaps you should accept you were wrongPerhaps you should accept that kids don't count as they are unknown when they arrive and unless they are useless the experience they gain will make them more accomplished players.
Maybe you could name a midfielder we have had who arrived on a transfer, who was not a teenager and still left with an enhanced reputation?
My point is we have produced goalies, defenders and forwards who have but not midfielders who were not kids like Bigi or Gunnar.
