The position to negotiate might be moot. It appears that ACL/Wasps could cut us loose at the end of the season and we will have no control of it.
Wasps don't fall under the jurisdiction of the FL or the FA, and no-one at CCC cares nor can do anything anyway.
What then........?
I wouldn't worry, wasps promised they wouldn't do anything that would be detrimental to CCFC or CRFC.

No idea to be honest I guess they go back to Northampton.
All we need to do is make £5 million in merchandise sales, easy!understand that NW and the background is important but unless there is a CCFC proper plan to go forward financially, that we can buy in to, then it wont actually matter. Whilst we seem to spend a lot of energy on here over Wasps, CCFC slips further and further towards financial oblivion. Somebody tell me how CCFC gets out of ever dwindling income which impacts on the ability to afford what we have and it seems doesn't meet the commercial levels expected by our landlords, who may choose to cut the deal in 1 or 3 years time. I do not see how it works in the present set up even if we stay in L1 to be honest. Where does the impetus come from to succeed?

That'd be nice...
Would also, worryingly, open up the possibility of a permanent move elsewhere. No ground of their own, and the city council says no land available in the city.
Glasgow's nice:thinking about:

No idea to be honest I guess they go back to Northampton or depending on the league Nuneaton Town.
I do miss that hill.
So if we are turfed out.. does that mean everyone will go this time?
Personally I would follow the club to pretty much anywhere if there was a valid reason behind it.

The thing is though... they're not likely to present it as throwing us out, are they.

I guess as it is slightly different than last time but not Northampton for me, everything will point back to Rushden if it's still there but more permanent this time. I would rather look at the old Hinckley United ground.
Rushden is being converted to a shopping centre.
Can picture the scenario now
Wasps 'We wanted CCFC to stay, CCFC walked away from the Ricoh' (whilst declining to mention that they wanted them to stay on the basis that the rent is jacked up 10x and we no longer get a share of match day revenues)
Then everyone goes crazy and blames Fisher

The option is the club then takes out an add in the Wasps evening telegraph and puts the contract in there for the fans to see.

I thought it was just SISU that is milking clubs, taking money out etc etc.
Imagine if she publicly asked people for some money to pay herself back.

That is not a good sign off to Northampton we go either that or Tim needs to get some builders in sharpish!
No my friend that would be the final nail just before the coffin is lowered, we all throw a handfull of soil on it, shed a tear turn our backs and walk away.
What's the betting she's watching this with interest and if it works she'll be doing it next?
Might be...
I can't see, realistically, how or why a club with no ground and no prospect of one would be kept going by ruthless investors, given that scenario anyway.
Must be touch and go as it is!
Could explain the sudden rush to speak to RBC.
As I said on another thread I think Northern I have a bad feeling about us.
Even is Wasps allow us to stay on, nothing will change. It will just be the same crap as now and I can't see how that will ever change.Next season should be OK... if for nothing else it's worth hanging on to see how Wasps plays out.
The problem is indeed if Wasps force the issue and stop us from being able to hang on.
"Otium Entertainment Group Limited has executed a licence with a four year term, commencing 21 August 2014 for Coventry City Football Club to play professional football matches at the Arena. There is a break clause in favour of ACL exercisable in 2016."
I know this is a thread about Wasps raising funds. But is anyone concerned about where this one highlighted sentence leaves CCFC?
