People do things that are irrational, like buying a Football Club, but they are supposed to be hard nosed money people.
Who gives a fuck about the CVA? It hasn't affected the club in the slightest.
Leaving the 'creative accounting stuff' aside I agree with your last sentence. We need the club back asap and start to rebuild both financially and in the leagues.
But I am quite sure there will be no easy compromise. To me it seems unlikely sisu will do anything to open negotiations. Only if ACL comes back and agree to start negotiations for the Higgs shares based on the original road map as well as the CCC's shares and a 125 yr long lease in exchange for the £14m loan, only then will I start hoping something can happen.
Many here advocate that sisu should put an open bid in the public domaine - well, that won't happen. Why not ask ACL to go back to the table and use the road map as a starting point?
The buying the club made sense in terms of a quick return but high risk, spunk some cash in and try for a promotion.
Now makes sense in a 'let's see how much we can salvage before buggering off' scenario, and effectively setting the investment clock to zero a year ago.
It's the bit in between that made less sense!
I would rather it did not happen, but if it does not effect promotion or relegation it is no the end of the world.Apart from the ten points being taken off. It is odd a supporter of a football club doesn't care that their team lost ten points,in fact it's more than odd and doesn't make sense.

Ah so we could have been in the dizzying heights of 9th in league 1 rather than 17th?
Massive difference.

Who gives a fuck about ACL? The sooner them and SISU disappear the club can move forward.
It kept us out of the play-off picture when otherwise we'd have been right in there. Little doubt it's had a big impact.
We still would have finished 9th. To suggest anything else is opinion not fact.
Well, they counted on it. And when it happened, they were left without their anchor tenant, a broken lease and a big empty hole in their coffers.
Voting against the CVA hoping sisu would leave was a mistake that would mean sacking the entire board and strategic management in any normal private business.
You wanted the club relegated anyway didn't you?
Did you care if we were docked the points huh? Would you care if anymore points were docked?
Do you care about the fortunes of the club next season at all?
I don't disagree with you, although the club's owned by a private equity arm rather than the hedge fund.
Now those funds look for anywhere about 7-10 years (I think!) as a timespan. (not that this is really long term, either)
Concerningly... if (if) it was the same fund we started with (the emergence of ARVO suggests maybe not btw, in which case...when will it end!) then the dates given for a new ground etc. would all kind of fit, at least...
It's the likes of you that would want us to be relegated if you ask me.
You would have loved to be able to blame acl for that this season. Don't try and pretend otherwise.
Why won't you answer the questions. Truth hurt? Why would I want them relegated? Promotion without playing at the sacred Ricoh would have been hysterical.
How many more points do you think that Leon Clarke woulld have been worth to us if he hadn't gone?
They took over in 2007 and even if Legoland was really going to be a reality, there is no way the thing would be up and running for 2017. They like to use Rotherham as an example for the new ground but due to likely objections etc I think the Shrewsbury model would be more of a comparison, from planning to finish nearly 10 years so that model certainly wouldn't fit their timespan.
That last line tells us everything we need to know about you.
Hysterical for you, heartbreaking for most city fans that such a glorious event was happening outside our fair city.
Would you care if the club got relegated while playing at Sixfields?
It would be unfortunate. Can't say it would matter to me as much as if it happened here.
Promotion without playing at the sacred Ricoh would have been hysterical.
There you go. People have the audacity to slate me on here. I want the club to win every game regardless. I guess I care for the club more than you.
That statement is equally as appalling as any about wishing relegation on our team.
You really are an idiot.
Not quite the lie you keep peddling that I want the team to be relegated though is it?
That's interesting. Is Ron an idiot as well or because he worships ACL does he get a free ride (so to speak).

Ron only worships ACL in your head. If Ron did wish relegation on the club then his comment would be equally as appalling as yours.
You need to take a hard look at yourself. Your ACL/CCC obsession seems to have robbed you of all sense of morality and love of your club. You are wishing to taint its history for a bit of council bashing.
Certainly more than we finished with and therefore relegation wouldn't have been an issue. The knock on effect would be (and this is holding Pressley true to his word) that with the club saying no contracts sorted before safety was a certainty then if with Leon's goals safety may have been achieved a lot earlier and therefore potentially out of contract players may have had their contracts sorted before the end of the season and thus us having a chance of keeping Murphy, Moussa and possibly another couple too. At least I would have more confidence going into next season.
I think that a team playing without the handicap of a 10 point deduction before the season starts will invariably play better than the same team with such a handicap. The play-offs became out of reach far sooner than they otherwise would have so the incentive to perform was lost earlier.
