TM is rightly getting a lot of plaudits at the moment on a number of fronts...giving the club some of it's identity back, having us sitting 2nd in the table, playing good football, ridding some monkeys of our back (Crewe) and the recruitment policy, especially when compared to some of his predecessors.
Some credit though must go to Mark Venus. He was brought in to put in place a robust and smart recruitment policy, something that needed to start from scratch. Yes, there will be players who will come in in the future who might be toilet, but so far, the majority of the incomings have started brightly and look to have integrated well into the ethos that TM is creating. Whatever structure he's implementing/implemented, it's starting to reap some early rewards.
Well done Mark, good work.
