Only way to compare managers , would be if pressley was managing us in the championship , thorn was bad , pressley is bad

To be fair we probably had the more possession when we were with 11 men.

The title of the thread may be accurate but it is irrelevant to the club's owners.

Pressley is achieving what they want, which is playing on a shoestring. They aren't interested in the football. They are only interested in the club as an entity.

He won't be sacked.

Again people , please remove the myth that money is a must in this league , its not .
tactical nous , good man management , effective football
there are 2-3 teams that spent what is regarded as decent money in this league

I'd rather live with a life of Pressley-isms that endure Warnock. I agree SP needs to go but I've never liked Warnock...a bit like Savage as a player...never liked.

A bit like Dennis wise a player you hate unless they play for you. If savage was in our team you would loved him

I can't argue with that Tom. The man is still a grade A knob though.

Hahahaha Thorn was the worst maanger in the club's history. He received full backing from the majority of this forum- says it all really. Haha.

If it wasn't for their blind loyalty to their hero then maybe he'd have fucked off sooner and we could have actually stayed up. I'm also surprised that those on here didn't praise sisu for daring to pick such an innovative and ground breaking manager.

You obviously wasn't about for Don Howe then ?

Exactly, I have never liked Savage or Warnock. I remember Warnock and Clinton Morrison having a bit of a tussle at the side of the pitch ones, wanted Morrison to slap him.

I bet if he was here and getting results I'd be telling Warnock to slap the players giving him stick

Sadly this post sums it all up, nothing will change whilst SISU keep conning people that they give a shit !

FFS, are people really talking about Warnock and Pulis as if they would even entertain coming here and more importantly we could afford a premier league manager!! We have SP because that's all we can afford, it was a gamble similar to Robinson at MK dons but that paid off (having said that they gave him money to build a team).

I would have Colin as our manager. I don't need to like a manager. But what we need is a manager that knows what he is doing. And he certainly does. If he came to our club this week we would have a decent chance of promotion this season. If we didn't make it we would go up next season. Just a shame it won't happen.

on the offal tonight.....

SP - "There is no point in dominating possession if you can't create chances"

BBC report that Doncaster had 52% of possession. How is that us dominating ?

Taking 2mins to take a free kick, throw in or goal kick each time for example eats up "possession time"
Whether it'd make so much difference to be able to claim "dominating possession" is another matter.

Thorn wouldn't have left Nouble on the bench when we are in need of a goal at both Bristol City and Doncaster.

On both occasions every Coventry fan knew he had to change the formation.

I remember us being one down at forest, as soon as we went 2 nil down he made an attacking change. It was about the 85th minute....

He would have

Cannot believe some people been talking about Wanker Warnock and Pulis coming here, Can we finally stop acting like we are top end Championship or worse, Premier League, get a grip, and if we ever ever got someone like Warnock, that would be it after 24 years for me, the blokes a complete c**t.

Seems an odd reason to give up after 24 years, I'm sure we've been through a lot worse in that time and you're still here.

Given WBA recent run - I would now be thinking Pulis to WBA & Warnock to Leicester by the end of January.

Ourselves...SP or some new kid on the block trying to make a name for himself...someone young & inexperienced enough to mould into the SISU way (god help him/her)
