Note to all NTFC fans (including its Chairman).....Do not do business with Shitzu (or any other name which they are using this week). They will fuck you over just as they have done to us.
Respect to Treenie and all Cobblers. From one bunch of Midland fans to another I hope we can all emerge unscathed from this farce. Initially fans were worried about double the number of games on one pitch. Lol.
This is certain to get heavy financially. Litigation all over the place. Unfortunately your chairman has put your club right in line, he may dismiss ACLs court threat publicly but in contract law I know ACL are confident of a result.
I don't think he's dismissed it because at this stage there is nothing to dismiss. A notice of intent is just that. Doesn't necessarily mean it has to be followed through
Hi Cobblers Fan.
It is my unswerving opinion that SISU/FInance as the owners of our football Club, are well on the way to their aim, which is the destruction of Coventry City football club, their tenure has been carried out under a veil of secrecy, with little or no information about what the plan for the club was, but now their intent is crystal clear.
Despite assurances from the owners SISU, I feel it highly unlikely that the club will be returning to Coventry, once located in the Northampton area, the main problem, being to locate a site and get planning permission for a new stadium to be built in the Coventry area when there is a purpose built, state of the art, stadium laying empty.
Then there is the question of the fans, a fan base is like a conveyor belt, at the top end, you have the mature, long standing supporters, who in time cease to attend due to illness and death, at the entry level you have the kids, supporters of the future, if the club was relocated over 30 miles away the conveyor belt would struggle to maintain its feed and eventually dry up.
I cant see, any way, that a new stadium will be built in the Coventry area, the economics don,t add up, But I do see the possibility of SISU trying to get a foothold in Northampton Town Football Club, so creating a Coventry, Northampton, Hybrid
So, should you be concerned, about jumping into bed with SiSU regarding a ground share agreement, "YES"..... I think you should.
I wasn't asking if I should be concerned. I am concerned and from what I have been told on my fact finding mission I can completely understand why we have been told to steer clear.
