Strongly disagree, and I can't take anyone seriously who thinks he works as hard as Lukas. Lukas does the closing down of 11 Cody McDonalds. The only sense in which I'm picking him on is in that I watched him like a hawk. I'm not "writing him off", I'm judging him based on what I've seen (ST holder). His attitude on the pitch is every bit as bad as Eastwood, incredibly lazy and lackadaisical, and he doesn't have his technical ability or touch.
Unfortunatly some people do need a player who to have a go at, maybe some were expecting him to be better than he is because he is the new signing (only outfield signing) and want more than what they have been getting don't know unfortunatly you can not please all the people all of the time and some really are unwilling to give a player any time to settle in and forget the fact that he has made a big jump up and into a side that is really struggling to create chances even for those who are more experianced than him.
Some are given pre-seasons, months and months to settle and get to play every game and yet still can't score on a regular basis, this is not having a go at any individual just as a whole.
I feel Cody could become a figure of hate before he has even been given a fair chance to prove himself.
I'm still not convinced he was AT's choice ,may have been brought in over his head, can anyone recall the deal conditions did any money change hands,AtT does not usually treat his signings in this way
I think Cody if he gets the chance will benefit most from the new arrival. If Gardner is suppose to be very creative in midfield so will need someone making runs which I carnt see juke and platt doing.
No I didn't go to Millwall away or Ipswich, although I saw Ipswich. The game that had me so livid was the Southampton game. When he moved to the left flank, he was playing right in front of where I sit. I know what I saw, and he was every bid as lazy and half arsed as Freddy at his worst. Given the rumours I've heard about his approach to fitness from inside the club, I'm not endeared to him one jot. If he was scoring goals or contributing to build up play I could forgive him being a lazy luxury player: but he's no Adel Taarabt..or even Stern John.

I slag him off for being lazy and he's suddenly becoming a "figure of hate?" Calm down, man! I also love how maybe 2 or 3 peoples opinions is being cited as "everyone"! I may be the vocal minority in this instance, but maybe I was paying more attention to him than some people? I treated it a bit like "Cody Cam". I'll try to avert my gaze next time...
Nonleague did I mention your name??
Think you need to calm down, if you read the post I state "could become a figure of hate" nowhere did I mention you or any poster on here it was a generalization of the way fans can quickly get onto someones back and thats it they will never be able to do right by some fans.
So you calm down man!
OK but it's hardly a "Julian Gray/Kevin Kyle Situation". If he shows ability, I'll forgive a bit of lazy tracking back. Remember that the game that most drove me mad is the most recent he's played-he's got time to turn me round, just I'm a critic at the moment. I do pay to see the home games, so I've a right to voice my opinion. I didn't boo him..but I did scream at him to close down/get tight about 15 times...
No problems NLHWC I am not saying it's a Julian Gray/Kevin Kyle situation but it could be.
As you are fully aware I am sure that it only takes a few inside the ground to start and the sheep soon follow even though they have a mind and opinion of there own they just like to follow a crowd as they just don't like to stand out and go against the grain.
Not saying your one of these but I am sure you know where I am coming from regarding my "could become a hate figure" sentiment.
I dont rate McDonald from what i've seen. I didn't think he worked hard enough when I seen him and he looks like at this level he needs a few chances a game to get a goal. He wont get that type of service in this team will he. Not the right sort of player we need in this mess were in.
