How old is he and how much would he cost?Pompey fan in the office says he has a great football brain but needs to play off a big striker as only 5ft 7in,
Good for him. What about Conor Chaplin?Pompey fan in the office says he has a great football brain but needs to play off a big striker as only 5ft 7in,
Curses!!! Beat me to it!How old is he and how much would he cost?
Oh, and what's his name?
Prosinecki? Yeah he must be. Apparently he used to sit on his own during the half-time talk, possibly having a smoke, while the manager (graham Rix?) talked to the rest of the team.
He’d still do a job for us!
I loved the Yugoslavia ‘team’...savicevic, boksic, stoijkovic etc etc.
Mine too. He scored a goal, against Argentina I think in ‘90 (i think...Im sure you’ll know it), where he faked to shoot, trapped the ball dead on the volley, causing the player to attempt to block an imaginary shot, before passing it into the goal.I had a Yugoslavian neighbour when I was younger and it was around the time of Italia 90. Stoijkovic was one of my favourite players of that era.

Hmmm, that rings a bell now you mention it. He was outstanding for Romania.Hagi played against CCFC in a pre season friendly for Brescia a few years ago - he was a great player (a wizard of a left foot - a much better version of Shaquiri, who Liverpool have just signed) Can't remember the score (think we lost 1-0)
JCH is a big ladPompey fan in the office says he has a great football brain but needs to play off a big striker as only 5ft 7in,
Apparently Sunderland have now also bid for Eisa. This could go one of two ways... Either force Jackett's hand to raise some funds... or make him decide to keep Chaplin.
Although it seems Sunderland are covering all bases as they are also apparently in for Charlie Wyke from Bradford and George Evans at Reading. I wouldn't be surprised if Pompey are also in for Wyke.
That doesn't make any sense. Why is Conor Chaplin wearing a Chelsea shirt?

Why are there 15 friggin pages about Portsmouth
I know a thread about that
If I was Eisa, I'd certainly fancy the South coast to the North East
I would imagine Sunderland will pay more, plus why go to team that is only going to play one up front (apparently why Chaplin is leaving) and already has a manager's favourite in that role?If I was Eisa, I'd certainly fancy the South coast to the North East

Maybe that's what he wants?Let's hope KJ has a backup otherwise the Chaplin deal is probably dead in the water
If the player really wants the move surely he and his agent will force it through. Like our departing players do. He must be getting pissed off being a pawn in this shit Kenny Jackett game of football transfer chess.Let's hope KJ has a backup otherwise the Chaplin deal is probably dead in the water
