No, where did I say he was scared? Portsmouth is all he has ever known, got a huge support network there and does not want to be the one who instigates the move by saying I am unhappy etc. You know a bit like Maddison. We all knew he wanted to go but I don't recall him coming out and saying it. Chaplin is young and probably does not have the confidence yet to speak his mind. It is different for established pro's. Maybe he would like to go back there one day and by pushing for a move may mess that up completely. We all know how unforgiving fans can be if they feel abandoned/let down.So you are saying he is scared of moving and being a first choice striker? That is bollocks. He has his head down for a Portsmouth shirt.
That's two more names in the mix.30 pages, well done everyone.
Would be great to sign Chapin and Stokley (although I'm sure that rumour is bullshit)
My own terrible spelling landThat's two more names in the mix.
Who are these from?

Maybe he was returning Hyam's pocket having finally got out of it after Wembley.
3 hour drive from Exeter to Cov just to go to Ryton for no reason and a three hour drive back to be at their fans q&a. Happy to be proved wrong but.
AbsolutelyMaybe he was returning Hyam's pocket having finally got out of it after Wembley.
It's possible Nick and Exeter did announce two new signings yesterdayThat would mean we have had a bid accepted.
He mustn't have been there for long to get back for their Q+A with fans. Imagine them accepting a bid and letting a player go for talks and then putting him in a questions with fans, a bit harsh!
Have you heard he was there?L
It's possible Nick and Exeter did announce two new signings yesterday
Would be a bit strange for Stockley to then go to their supporter's Q&A and be positive about the new season though
But stranger things have happened

No I hadn't heard anything on this oneHave you heard he was there?

I really do think it will be okGive us something better days, tell us it's all going to be OK and Robins hasn't just given up on us having a striker.
Ha, music is funky....Another hat-trick for Shankland north of the border...worth watching for the music alone
All this goes to show why some of us were annoyed when McNulty was sold, not that the fee was wrong but that we all knew that £1.2 million would disappear in thin air, just like the windfall £3 million from Maddison did...and what a surprise, Robins has already hinted there isn’t money to spend. Great idea selling McNulty.

I am sure Robins working with McNulty day to day and having the opportunity to speak face to face is better placed to make a decision if it was right to sell McNulty rather than you.
Replacing McNulty is difficult, but it doesn't make the decision to sell wrong.
Where's he said there's no money to spend?
he hasn't. he will have a couple of hundred grand to play with and get bodies over the line
...................................
Asked if he has money to spend in his quest for a new goal scorer, Robins said: “I haven’t got millions, trust me.”
When quizzed about the money from McNulty and Maddison and whether he will see any of it, he added: “We’ll have to wait and see but the idea is that what we have to do is try to find someone who we can develop.
“It’s not going to be someone from up there who can come in and do it. That’s not the model.
“So we have got to try to do something to develop people.
I can’t wait to quote your comment when we’re stru
If we had made McNulty stay there is no guarantee he would have been banging goals in for us. Also in that scenario his value would have fallen.
Why is it without a doubt? His record in this league previously wasn’t great. If we had made McNulty stay? i seriously believe McNulty was very happy here, why wouldn't he be,great team spirit, bagged loads of goals, got promoted, sure once Reading came knocking and his agent saw £ signs, and a higher league and better wage, yeah of course he would be interested,i mean who wouldn't,but to say no guarantee he would banging in the goals is utter rubbish,he would of,everybody knows it, Reading know it, he would of scored 20+ in this league without doubt, if we don't replace him,we could struggle, yeah i am sure Robin's will be hoping Ponticelli and the rest of them will come good, they may,but it is a gamble and beside none of our current strikers could match the goal tally of McNulty at a higher level too.
