It's bad for him, sure, but that bad for us? TM seems to rate him, or perhaps he sees a decent player he can coax out - otherwise, it's a simple case of having extra cover for Fleck and Vincelot.

I think he's past the point of being a prospect, but maybe TM can boost his confidence so he's a solid squad player.

Hope there is some insurance to cover this. Doubt if the policy covers all the squad, but should extend to Conor as he is usually first in if Fleck or Vincelot isn't available isn't he?

Always stuck up for the lad in the past, but the last season or so he seems to have been stuck in a rut and not developing his game at all, so I wouldn't really have wanted him around the first team anyway.

Sad to see any player injured, but it could have happened to much more important player to the squad couldn't it.

He hasn't really featured this season. A cover player rather than integral member of squad. A lot of potential but it's never really been fulfilled. Hope he recovers well and gets an opportunity elsewhere

Me Too! We are not talking about a young player anymore-he has played over 100 games and if he hasn't produced yet(which he hasn't) he never will. Should have been shown the door at the same time as Jordan Clark. Will be at the Boro' next season which is about his level.

Why would you want someone more important injured ;)

Don't think cheering on a young player's injury is particularly classy, but let's be fair, if Rose signs he's 5th choice DM at the moment.
