I just wish you'd forget the stupid 'politics' (and I am probably just as frustrated as you) because the future of OUR Club depends on Steven Pressley & his Staff & Players getting our support & commitment. They've stayed POSITIVE throughout and are delivering some tremendous 'attacking one & two touch football' that we should ALL GET BEHIND - IMHO!
If you don't go to Sixfields, it's YOU who'll be missing out, not me or my family (instead of 1 it'll be 3 next Sunday) for far too many years 'negatives' have affected my Club and much of that is due to the supporters! I JUST WANT TO TALK ABOUT FOOTBALL AND SUPPORT IT, regardless of WHO owns the Club or the Stadium! IMHO
There may be little evidence that they will actually build a new stadium at the moment apart from land sites being identified as we are all aware already.
The point is what evidence do you have to the contrary?
I was house hunting a few weeks ago. We identified two properties and both are valued at about 800k. Both are just what we need and would like.
What else would I have to do before people think that we would be buying one or is that enough?

well, lets look at what the estate agent asks you..
1) who are your solicitors
2) do you have a mortgage in place

So, we have a place called Coventry. Has a football club with a long history, gets an average gate of nearly 11K playing at its lowest level in over half a century, down from 21K just a few years earlier in the 2nd tier of English football.
Then we have Northampton, a smaller town with one team already playing there with gates of only 4K-5K.
But apparently, the AIM of our owners is to set up a franchise there with non-league level gates, because apparently this benefits them somehow?
Anyone who thinks SISU have long term plans to stay in Northampton is an idiot in my opinion. Not a chance it can work. They know it, I know it, but sadly the 'we'll never return' brigade keep repeating the same hysterical nonsense. Unbelievable.
If the club dies, then ACL is guaranteed nothing from CCFC in the future.
A dead club is quite a lengthy prolonging of 'distress'.
I very much agree they don't intend to stay there not a chance.
Also the football league did state that they wouldn't allow them to stay there full time and would have to move back to the coventry area
Hold on, I thought SISU will sell all our players and we will be in the Conference in two years. Now you are saying SISU have a strategy to invest and create a winning team, which is it?
I guess as Simon, Tony and Lifelong have said Northampton fans will get in free to see us -- well that's what I've heard anyway.
Well if we knew what Sisu's plans were we would all be much wiser. I doubt Sisu have a long term plan either way.
