All the best mate. Keep the gifs coming to keep yourself busy and us entertained90% sure I’ve got it. Rang 111, basically shrugged and said stay at home for 14 days dickhead.
Coughing like mad. No sore throat. Eyes burning. Sweating like I’ve never ever sweated before even when playing football in the summer. Haven’t moved for 3 hours. Mrs is on her way home now and the lad is not going to school. Shitting it. Told work I’ll see you in 2 weeks.
That's good news. Is there an isolation period even after you start to feel better?
The point is that if this is the biggest test of national resolve, you should be exuding authority as opposed to openly creating worry and panic by saying we are going to have to build our own, when other countries are calmly getting on and buying thousands.
They said 7 days if you live on your own, 14 if you live with people so you can all get it.
There you go son *cough* have that you prick.
I assume you are under 40 - am I right?Cheers mate. Already found out about that. Good job I questioned what the NHS website and 111 said hey? Our lot haven’t found out about that yet.
Playing devils advocate...how many did they have before and as a ratio against their population?
Do you know that the UK didn't already have orders in?
Is our ventilators per person ration already higher than Germany?
Genuinely...you or I don't know the answers to the above, so why make a big thing out of it if you don't know the answers? If you do know the answers, I apologise but there's far too much comparing apples with oranges with pears with bananas at the moment. And not just on here.
Damned if you, damned if you don't. It goes back to my original point. They - the govt and the scientific experts, said that we should go down a certain route. To the untrained eye (hi), their rationale seemed logical for doing so.
Given the unknown nature of this, of course there's going to be changes of direction in terms of how we approach this. It's a given.
Without looking in detail, I bet you every single country/government has changed direction on this at least once.
There's a lot of hyperbole going around....this is a massive unknown. No one truly understands how this is going to play out.
No idea how much of this message I just got is true, so don’t shoot the messenger, but perhaps it would be a nice change to have something ‘happy’ to tear apart and rip to shreds
-China has closed down its last coronavirus hospital. Not enough new cases to support them.
- Doctors in India have been successful in treating Coronavirus. Combination of drugs used: Lopinavir, Retonovir, Oseltamivir along with Chlorphenamine. They are going to suggest same medicine, globally.
- Researchers of the Erasmus Medical Center claim to have found an antibody against coronavirus.
- A 103-year-old Chinese grandmother has made a full recovery from COVID-19 after being treated for 6 days in Wuhan, China.
- Apple reopens all 42 china stores,
- Cleveland Clinic developed a COVID-19 test that gives results in hours, not days.
- Good news from South Korea, where the number of new cases is declining.
- Scientists in Israel likely to announce the development of a coronavirus vaccine.
- 3 Maryland coronavirus patients fully recovered; able to return to everyday life.
- A network of Canadian scientists are making excellent progress in Covid-19 research.
- A San Diego biotech company is developing a Covid-19 vaccine in collaboration with Duke University and National University of Singapore.
- Tulsa County's first positive COVID-19 case has recovered. This individual has had two negative tests, which is the indicator of recovery.
- All 7 patients who were getting treated for at Safdarjung hospital in New Delhi have recovered.
- Plasma from newly recovered patients from Covid -19 can treat others infected by Covid-19.

That makes sense though, right? The more and more countries who report their figures and get at least one case, you'd expect that sort of curve. Comparing it to China is another apples and oranges situation.

Is the eye thing a symptom then? Me and the Mrs both have had itchy eyes the last 2 days.
Euro 2020 delayed until 2021.
Euro 2020 postponed until next summer, says the Norwegian FA
Could this provide the space we need to finish our season?
The thing I don't like is that people are being to stay home so you'll get better without being sure if you've had it or something else, whether you're infectious, built up a tolerance etc. The uncertainty of it all is a big worry for me. Hope it's not too bad for you
As many will know I'm no fan of Johnson and although there may have been an initial U-turn in policy in the first few days since then it has more been a case of stricter measures are on the way and we're constantly reviewing when these need to be implemented. Things are being brought in more quickly than they anticipated but frankly it's better these changes than him steadfastly refusing to admit it was wrong and make things worse solely because of pig-headedness. I'm not sure Labour would have a better response anyway and may have spent more time dithering over what response to make.
Best of luck fella, hope you have a speedy recovery! Keep posting the GIFs!90% sure I’ve got it. Rang 111, basically shrugged and said stay at home for 14 days dickhead.

do you get hayfever? I've had some mild symptoms already this week.
My favourite are the people who tweet with a picture of empty shelves with a comment about Corbyn / Venezuela / Socialism seemingly oblivious to the fact he's not in charge. In the interests of impartiality I don’t see that Corbyn would have been any better. Fair criticism of the incumbents doesn’t automatically make you a labour voter or something.
why? It’s not something to panic over, but why do you say is it apples & oranges?
Because comparing one countries numbers (apples) is different to the sum total of every other countries numbers (oranges).
If you look at one country, China, the graph reflects their journey...a steep incline and then a plateau.
If you look at the rest of the world, that incline is going to start later as the virus spreads (as the graph shows) and then a steep curve upwards as more and more countries confirm cases.

I think it’s interesting info to look at, personally.

I see Mr Corbyn is ignoring the recommendations of self isolation - great example to set
Hoping today they actually formalise some of what they said yesterday regarding not going to events. Know a lot of venue owners and promoters from my days working in the music biz who are furious at the moment as they can't make insurance claims until that happens.
