Is it a film or documentary.I've been asked to watch a film called The Contagion which seems to be similar to what is happening at the moment. Has anyone seen it?

Get on solar movies download a ad blocker and plug laptop into TV and boom watch anything you wantI got Disney Plus in an attempt to keep the kids occupied while I try to work from home, because it’s driving me round the twist with the arguing and non stop noise, then found out it doesn’t start until the 24th March. That feels like a really long way away right now.
Latest from Australia. All outside gatherings limited to max 500 people for a period of 6 months. Indoor limited is 100. NRL season going on behind closed doors at moment. NRL are looking at moving all 16 teams to sporting complex in North Queensland. Basically isolating all players from Virus and playing out season. There will be no lock down for the public. Can't be bothered to read through all previous posts on the subject so if mention before apologies. Just wondering if the financial implications on the virus will hit Wasps harder than us and could this bring them back to the table re Ricoh. Personally I hope they go bust.
When there is.... run for the hills!!Only 1 case confirmed in Worcester and none yet in Malvern. Phew!

That's a bit shit. Morrisons gets you to book the delivery slot before you orderGetting shopping for 3 elderly parents/in-laws (all with health issues) - set up a Sainsbury's home delivery account for my mum and stepfather. which accepted a payment for the service; it lets you place an order (took ages for them to do, bless - but showed them how it works) but then when you get to book a delivery slot it tells you that due to (unsurprising) high demand there are no delivery slots and no order and collect options from store. Naughty not having a statement at the beginning - and at this point they have already had your money for using their home delivery service. ?????

Also - a bit sad - my stepfather is adding bits to his online order, which he is (probably) never going to get. I bought him some cheese that they wanted, and he said - I've added that to the Sainsburys order, but we can use the 'extra!' (Don't think he's got it that his order won't materialise!)
That’s what I thinkThey said on the radio earlier today that its been recommended jury trials are paused but no mention of if they were going to actually do it or anything about other trials. You'd have to assume it will be postponed.
Makes you feel great to be a working person with morals don't it?People who were dicks and hoarded everything get away with it. Rationing for the rest of us and those of us who have to keep going into work will get the least.
Thanks to the pricks who made it a necessity through inconsideration

Only 3 cases in Portsmouth out of 68. Phew.407 new cases according to PHE as of 09.00 this morning compared with 24 hours previously. Given the testing regime that's 407 likely to be a significant number of people who have been admitted to hospital.
If we're on about the league table: Hampshire is the highest LA area now although it's mostly London Boroughs in the top 10. Massive increase in the North West but only a small one in the Midlands. Only 3 confirmed cases in Cov so far which is quite low for a city of its size, especially given its demographic.
Working from home today, ITV on in the background.
They keep having random people on saying how they are dealing with isolation.
Len Goodman from strictly come dancing, obviously not short of cash just saying how he is coping and going for a walk in his garden.
No chance of being realistic for "normal people" then

18 months! China have virtually finished it within 3 months so god knows what he's talking about....
I really wouldn't be fooled by reports coming out of China
Kept it out of the main cities, able to take measures that "democracies" aren't willing to in terms of lockdowns, forced quarantining etc.I think China was so draconian in isolating parts of the population that new cases were always going to fall - because there was no one left to infect! When restrictions are lifted there will be a strong uptick in new cases again.
Vaccine ready by autumn?
(BBC)
A German pharmaceutical company working on a vaccine has suggested it might have a product ready by autumn. The company, Curevac, had been at the centre of a row over the weekend when media reports suggested Washington had tried to offer money in exchange for a vaccine exclusive for the US.
The company though dismissed suggestions they'd received a concrete offer from Washington.
One of the owners of the firm told German paper FAZ that, if things go well, a vaccine might be developed by early summer and could then be approved and ready for rollout by autumn.
Good news. Will be several months after that that it’s produced and distributed around the world of course. Looking promising that we might make some breakthrough before too long. I imagine there’s a lot of rich and powerful people wanting this and that usually speeds things up.
then they should have their own quarantine regulationsThey’ll still be the anti vaccine group

US worryingly bending the wrong way.
Anyone know how long Italy have been in lockdown? Seems to be flattening out a bit there now.

You rekon its flattening? It still looks to be rising quite sharply
