Not the first time we've had issues with these sort of facilities either. We're quick to demand things be shut down when they're in far flung countries but maybe we need to sort things out closer to home as well. The meat factory thing is a worry, we've had our own outbreaks in meat factories, I wonder how long the virus can live on the meat and whether it was all traced and destroyed or already on the shelves?
I think everyone feels like that.He is just an utter shit isn't he. I've now reached a point where everytime I see his face I feel angry and just want to punch it.
I just try and think where he'd fit among the ranks in the real world of commerceI think everyone feels like that.
Still a great name to play with.

Safe to say the pubs are reopening, I can’t imagine Boris bothering to do tomorrow’s daily briefing if it’s bad news being delivered.
They are. Pubs, restaurants, hotels, hairdressers etc and a reduction in the safe distance from 2 to 1 metre I reckon.
I think it's too soon personally for the pubs but people are just going to have to try and look after themselves if they're concerned.
As with all of this, I'll let the likes of Dom be the guinea pigs. They are. Pubs, restaurants, hotels, hairdressers etc and a reduction in the safe distance from 2 to 1 metre I reckon.

Pub near me has yet to have any guidance, so they won't have much time to put it in place.
surprised at that to be honest. I know a couple by me who have put protocols in place.
The hairdressers where my wife works was given their opening date and a list of guidelines and protocols they have to implement weeks ago.
They've got until July 4th to think of some effective track and trace system. Pen and paper was being talked about yesterday which is an absolute madness in my view but I suppose better than nothing. They should really pick up that open source code from Germany and try and get it going in two weeks.surprised at that to be honest. I know a couple by me who have put protocols in place.

So the common theme seems to be enclosed spaces. Here's another version.
German COVID-19 infection rate jumps to 1.79 after meat plant outbreak
It's a freehold, so no brewery guidance. Suspect the little man's being ignored atm in favour of the conglomerates. I never really liked the place, but the landlords been really good to my parents through this, so I want to see them thrive in return.surprised at that to be honest. I’m surprised I haven’t heard from my barber. I imagine due to his political views and the email he sent in May he’s for ending lockdown ASAP, he opened bookings for May 16th first then had told cancel them all. So he’s obviously raring to go.

I know 2 pubs near me that are and have put measures in place. I wonder if there's some federation or organisation that some are in and some aren't and that's where the guidelines have come from?
I see there are rumours circulating that 'the next PM' Sunak is considering spending cuts and tax rises in his autumn budget, continuing the Thatcher household budget fallacy.

my missus thinks it's quite possible she won't be able to make it pay given the restrictions, it's going to be tough on a lot of small businesses.
It’s almost like the party of business understand very little about how most small businesses run.
“Hey guys! Seems the economy has had a massive demand side shock, let’s suck more demand out of the economy I’m sure that’ll fix it”. Couldn’t make it up.
They've spent 10 years or more telling the public that the country can't afford a good standard of living for everybody, they're not going to expose themselves now“Hey guys! Seems the economy has had a massive demand side shock, let’s suck more demand out of the economy I’m sure that’ll fix it”. Couldn’t make it up.
Do they publish daily hospital admission numbers? If thats falling as well its certainly a positive.95 fatalities, 958 infections.
Granted its the weekend lag, but Broadgate celebrations were 2 weeks ago. The BLM protests 3 weeks ago at least. Other things reported, the beach gatherings etc.
And no second wave.

I’m pretty sure outside gatherings are ok. I was dead against them initially when I was in the grip of fear about all this. But as things appear to be improving, numbers dropping and lockdown easing, I’m more at ease. Plus the science backs up outside being a lot less of a risk than inside. I’m in no position to say if there will or won’t be a second wave, so I’m not going to speculate but I’m still going to be careful.
Not to forget that people were still pretty socially distanced and at the protests at least most people have been wearing masks.
Not sure why people feel the need to stick their necks out about things they don’t fully understand.
Tbf mate im only saying it because around a month ago i had enough of the doom media.
Started researching other countries methods, investigations, scientific findings etc. And as said before the biggest thing for me is it's trend following SARS, the fact people presenting to hospital now arent in a state like in March, and the findings of it being spread around France and Germany from mid December.
Just feel that stuff isnt reported as much as it should be. I know on here i come across as aggressively pushing a viewpoint against the second wave, and i suppose i do come down on that side of things.
But this forum was wall to wall doom, political bitching and death numbers.
Just want to get the other side across. And i hope to god its right
