Maybe they'll start taking it seriously now. We appear to have a very lax attitude compared to other countries. But who has she mixed with. Spent day before her test with Boris. And everyday of course with Hancock.
And your chose leader would have had us do what exactly ? What exactly is your chosen leader doing these days ?Actually right thread. You’re going to find out now just how great your chosen leaders are.
Try being coherent and spelling the basics correctly and I might consider lowering myself to answer you.And your chose leader would have had us do what exactly ? What exactly is your chosen leader doing these days ?
Haha. What's wrong, can't answer the question ? Hiding behind my spelling mistakes ? You sad twat.Try being coherent and spelling the basics correctly and I might consider lowering myself to answer you.
Concern for her mum, obviously.
Over the worst of it, glad she’s making a full recovery
We've had our first case at work, one lad has been sen
I know it's difficult but given the evidence and advice, what the hell was she doing having her mum stay with her?Concern for her mum, obviously.
Firstly - I am glad she is on the mend.

Not really, the receiver could be 100% adhering to NHS guidelines (like I would expect our health minister would be doing) but the 'carrier' may not be which could be anyone. We just don't know.Firstly - I am glad she is on the mend.
That said - does anyone else find it odd that out of only 382 cases confirmed that one of them happens to be a minister (health no less) that in theory would be privy to far more information than the rest of us?
I’m not claiming any kind of conspiracy theory it just seems bizarre... maybe the number of cases is MASSIVELY higher than we’ve been told?
Even more reason for the barge-pole though!

Merkel believes 60-70% will become infected in Germany.
NoMerkel said up to not for definite, it was the possible worst case scenario. Same as the uk government said a 5th of the uk workforce could be sick at the same time. It's a possibility but it doesn't mean its definitely going to happen.
People need to be weary of things they read in the press or experts on tv as "it's not going too bad" doesn't make a good story. O one should be blade but most experts would agree the UK is doing a good job at the moment. The have one plan unlike some of the more federal style countries and they are not being political and seem to be letting the cmo and phe call the shotsNo
Shame the BBC put it out as I described it wankers
It was on the beeb late last night.Let's not have the Daily Wire used as a source of anything please
FWIW, that individual is now confirmed NEGATIVE, and has been readmitted to the general population. The experience is helping us to formulate robust processes for how to manage future possible and confirmed cases. One student on campus has been isolated after returning from Italy but not yet confirmed as being infected, but loads of departments seem to be making contingency plans to work from home, suspect I'll be doing the same before too long the way it's going.
The Uni has been running a pilot of what they call "agile working", and i think the latest nastiness is likely to lead to an acceleration of the wider adoption of the programme. Essentially, if you are able to work from home (no meetings in your calendar, etc), then you may do so. It is part of the drive to improve people's life-work balance, but also to reduce the Uni's carbon footprint if people don't need to use their cars to travel to work. One thing I hope comes from this is more employers accepting home working as valid. Hopefully they’re forced to seriously look at it and then the sky doesn’t fall in and those of us who can easily work from home (he says blatantly not working while at work) can do so.

My missus works for Citizens Advice (though not giving frontline advice) and works from home 2 days per week, but spends most of that chatting to her CEO via Skype.
I think the main problem with the early SARS vaccines is that they were NASTY! But each coronavirus will have a slightly different make-up, so it's unlikely that the vaccines would cross-react, even if the symptoms are identical. It's been the perennial problem with generating a vaccine for the common cold (which is often caused by members of the coronavirus family)I have a question.
This virus was called Sars2 when it first took hold .
It seems that the attack and response in the lung's follows the same pattern .
There was after the fact a vaccine developed and I think approved for use .
They must have tried this out, yeah?

Take a look at Insite for the latest information, which generally follows PHE guidance directly (with a bit extra info tailored to our setting). But my personal view (and i have suggested it to the powers that be) is that if people are coming down with any sort of cold or flu-like symptoms, and they are able to work from home, then they should stay away from the workplace (which is what BoJo was saying might be considered in 10-14 days time if the modelled numbers indicate it). I'm a strong advocate of this approach to avoid entire teams being knocked out by coughs and colds, irrespective of coronavirus.
HTH ...

While true they are questions being raised in wider society .see the BBC interviewed Farage about this epidemic. I mean why wouldn't you seek the opinion of a man who holds no elected position and had no medical knowledge?
