So basically all the stories are based of 1 video that is shown with out clarifying what it really is.
Grenners hates China and will slander them at every opportunity.

So from what I can tell this is all now turning into a platform for anti-Chinese propaganda.
Hope this happens. Attitudes to remote working drive me mad. Always seems to be fine for management but an issue if anyone else wants to do it. Is that because the managers sit at home doing nothing? One thing I hope comes from this is more employers accepting home working as valid. Hopefully they’re forced to seriously look at it and then the sky doesn’t fall in and those of us who can easily work from home (he says blatantly not working while at work) can do so.
I could easily work from home but I'm not sure I have enough socks to cope with the extra demand...No reason at all I couldn't work from home, literally just need my work laptop and an internet connection. Would save me money, not just petrol but wouldn't have to put my dog in daycare (£300 a month!), make my working day a lot shorter and be better for the environment as it would be a car off the road. Would also save the company money, wouldn't have to rent that office and would pay me less mileage as I'd be closer when I have to visit clients. There's literally no downside but they hear 'work from home' and aren't interested.
I have a question.
This virus was called Sars2 when it first took hold .
Why not voice your displeasure and announce how reasonable you are in comparison ?So from what I can tell this is all now turning into a platform for anti-Chinese propaganda.
The virus is still SARS-CoV-2. The disease (symptoms) is CoVid-19.
So, to all the people who have tried to politicise this (which is pretty poor in my book)...
The government has a pact to follow medical advice rather than take actions to react to public opinion
A government owned bank has offered mortgage payment holidays (which lead to all others doing the same/similar)
The government has confirmed that they will step in and help SME with sick pay
The government has provided a hardship fund to small businesses
there is probably more but tell me what else you want or expect ???
Now I’m not saying the government has been perfect in their handling of this situation but it pisses me off that certain people almost want to point the finger when all countries/governments are in totally unchartered territories.
fingers crossed for everyone’s sake the medical advice and actions to date are correct
Ps the same people complaining about the governments reaction/inaction probably arent taking responsibility for their own actions ie personal hygiene, self isolation, panic buying, not making sure others are ok etc etc
Chinese put 800 thousand people into what are basically concentration camps not a peep.
Kill some dogs - uproar!
To be fair we have deliberately taken a different tack to every other country. It may pay off, it may not, but it’s worthy of comment.
Don’t disagree shmmeee and im not saying it’s correct, however, there are plenty of people out there that have happily questioned the government when ultimately the key decisions have been based on medical advice
I think people are reasonable in asking the question when the PM comes out in a press conference he went to Kettering hospital and shook hands with a load of Coronavirus sufferers when it was total bollocks.
If the PM portrays an image of farcical lunacy - is it any wonder that a) people question it b) behave like panic merchants unnecessarily
It’s obvious, rightly or wrongly, that he’s trying to keep the country calm. As I say, there will be plenty of people whatever happens that will try to argue their political points. I’m just saying this has nothing to do with politics. We’ve followed medical advice. Where is the praise for the efforts (successfully) trying to track down potential carriers of the virus (once it’s been known that people could’ve passed it on) and ensuring they self isolate ? Italy, for all their amazing health care (and it is apparently excellent) had someone with coronavirus come into GP surgeries several times before agreeing to even test them and by then they had potentially come into contact with 600 people ?
show me a perfect reaction to this situation ? If not, rather than people picking holes in what we have tried to do, take a bit of personal responsibility, do what you need to do and acknowledge that the government is doing its best for the people of this country (whether they be right or wrong)

The most incredible thing is you offer no solution to the Corona virus but simply are here to slag off everyone else who is having to deal with an unprecedented situation .The scariest thing is how certain posters have developed an unquestioning loyalty to Johnson in the same way some feel that way about Trump. No matter how incompetent & deceitful he is, we are supposed to acknowledge that he knows exactly what he’s doing. That kind of stupidity is pretty incredible.

Typical loud mouth who barks at the TV.
There will be a proper mass panic soon enough with the exponential growth that's coming. It’s obvious, rightly or wrongly, that he’s trying to keep the country calm. There is no response. Nothing. Everyone else has taken measures, but not us apart from to talk about the finances.I agree Fernando, it’s coming
ps I am just saying that I honestly believe the government have taken the steps they feel appropriate at the right time (who knows whether they end up being right or wrong but if they are based on senior medical advice then I’ll back them)
I thought that's what hes been doing since becoming PM?Boris will have to self isolate soon
