So I suppose everyone not renewing their box will renounce anything bad they said about SISU and pine for them back? Since they got their box for much cheaper
WW2 scholars are generally agreed that of all Hitler’s crimes, hiking the corporate box costs to a point where even Surprise Shirts were priced out was his most reprehensibleBacks up what I've been told
Hes pissed off Boddy, Hornby, Scope the lot by being a fucking Hitler and wanting to run the club all by himself his way with no time for anyone else.
Money money money
If they sell out, based on the numbers quoted, I make that about £5k a week on the wage bill. Not bad. They will sell out. Same people saying they wouldn't sell out against Boro because of the price increase and oh look they sold out pretty goddamn quick.
For the record it’s a disgrace if match day prices go up. We’ve been paying L1/L2 prices for far too long for a lot of things but they’re certainly not one of them.
Makes you wonder what prices the Corporate season tickets would have been if we had got promoted to the premier league.
A lot more.Makes you wonder what prices the Corporate season tickets would have been if we had got promoted to the premier league.
He needs to invest to meet his side of the bargain but people being shocked Championship football is more expensive than L1 or L2 are frankly being naive calling for loyalty. What happens if their business doesn't do so well one year will they still prioritise the club as they are loyal? Say they are loosing £5m per year are they still getting that box?
Didn’t recall anybody moaning when we played BirminghamThe one big test for me is the matchday prices.
If he dares put them at £35 for category A, that will seriously piss people off.

The new "Mill Membership" (Block A) £750 only has 6 seats left.
Vice Presidents Club had 16 seats left (minus renewal holds) when pricing released. Now on 3 seats left £1875.
Not bad for being on sale half a day.
To watch the best league in the world week in week out? I’d hope at the very least double what they are now.Makes you wonder what prices the Corporate season tickets would have been if we had got promoted to the premier league.
They can still watch the club they aren't priced out of going. They have had multiple years of a cheap box in the championship. Its up to them if its worth it or not. That is not what he is saying. It the the level of increase in one hit that is the issue.
Some weird takes on here. People positively delighted that the local businesses that have stuck with the club through dark times (while many on here were nowhere to be seen) have been hit with 200% increases.
These are scaffolding companies and the like, local blokes who have worked hard and treat themselves to a corporate box at the football club they love, and here they are being told to fuck off and stop moaning.
There should have been a conversation with these people. Informed them that prices needed to rise and gave them options of special deals in Club Coventry, some sort of gesture that at least made them feel they were valued.
Get relegated to League One and the club have the begging bowl out again. Why piss these people off?
I know many in the same boat as you. Several businesses who have for many years bought a box. They have today sent emails to Suzette stating their disappointment in the price hike with no consultation. A lot of businesses are struggling at the minute and the luxury of a box up the city will now be too much.Price increase is very annoying. I've supported the club for many years as has my family and this is a less than positive way of showing appreciation. It's astonishing why we weren't consulted beforehand but that's neither hardly surprising as they treat us with utter contempt anyway.
DK is trying to align our prices with other Championship clubs which is understandable but to hike the price to this level is bordering on the moronic and only serves to alienate his highest paying customers - many of which are regular sponsors also. It should've been staggered incrementally year on year dependant on where we finish. If the product is shit not sure who's realistically paying £25k for a box.
Also more market research should've been done on the price position other than what everyone else prices their hospitality boxes at. Businesses in and around the city traditionally are SMEs, not particularly awash with cash - having my own service based business I can attest to this as I no longer bother marketing myself locally anymore as it's futile given if I do land a local client the fees are nominal - even from the county's larger enterprises. The corporates also have had no interest in partnering with the club - that could change with some common sense but not holding my breath. So I really can't see local businesses lining up to renew or purchase for the first time.
Plus for those that band together and pitch in for a box this effectively prices them out.
Very strange move but it is what it is. I'll be looking for an alternative option.
You’re not wrong, they can now go for the cheaper option but the issue is, Will there be the uptake to take on all these vacant boxes.. that’s the potential issueThey can still watch the club they aren't priced out of going. Price increase was inevitable. See what the early bird offers.
Price increase was inevitable.
They will sell them outIt's not about benefitting from a cheap box it's about the club increasing the prices incrementally to ensure they've got customers to sell the boxes to. Almost tripling their price is ridiculous, naive and stupid.
I'd be astounded if they sold more than 25% of the current 40-odd.
Backs up what I've been told
Hes pissed off Boddy, Hornby, Scope the lot by being a fucking Hitler and wanting to run the club all by himself his way with no time for anyone else.
Money money money
Well obviously. Thanks for pointing that out.
I've said before I'd be more than happy to have paid an extra 30-40%.
What they've done is ridiculous.

If
They will sell them out
Go on…Well one of thems pissed off because King asked him to do something which is part of his remit and ended up having to intervene and do it himself. No loss of they piss off.
Of course they will.Well they won't.
I love this notion that the club should be ringing around to consult with customers and asking if they can put their prices up. It’s so quaint.
Well King will soon find out won't he! If they end up vacant it won't impact the atmosphere. Obviously would lose cash on it but it's his call. You’re not wrong, they can now go for the cheaper option but the issue is, Will there be the uptake to take on all these vacant boxes.. that’s the potential issue
Of course they will.
if they don’t go for £25k they will drop them in price till they do.
why should the club contact customers asking them what they would pay, when it’s likely a lot lower than what they could get for them.
