Cost of Matchday hospitality (1 Viewer)

Think it was suggested on another thread that there was difficulties regarding matchday hospitality at the Ricoh. The club have released the prices for hospitality packages and executive boxes so there doesn't appear to have been much of a problem.

Looks like they have reduced the prices of these too which should tempt businesses.

With all the various little bits of good news it suggests that someone has finally got a grip of the clubs marketing and football PR. Seems to me that the release of the details is calculated to keep interest and to above all keep it positive. Feels like it is working to me. The drips of good news build the overall excitement and hopefully will build momentum.

Just need some players now :)

I think that the issue is around some of the other corporate hospitality, where other bookings have (presumably) already been taken for match days.

I had a number of tickets in the Legends club last season. On a number of occasions we were "relocated" for games as the normal lounge had a prior booking.

I'm still waiting to hear what the arrangements will be for the coming season - my assumption is that this is while they try to work out which rooms are available for games following the release of the fixtures.

They do seem to be making a real effort PR wise this season, there's stuff about shout-outs for people going to their first games and being a mascot for free (assume this cost something before, no idea) in the last day alone.

It feels almost as if they've now got nothing else to distract themselves with so might as well put some effort into running the football club.

I think also DTD that the agreement stipulates minimum numbers for certain areas to be opened. The club hasn't been able to provide those numbers last season. On the other side ACL are not going to open some of the areas up on if its going to make them losses and therefore consolidate everyone into smaller areas to keep cost to a minimum

Not sure that that will be the issue in this particular case - the lounge was always packed last season!

Legends isn't one of those mentioned above. Is that a different price?
Did a VIP matchday hospitality last year and really enjoyed it. Not something I could afford to do too often bit would like to do it again sometime.

Legends is a bit of a cheaper option.

You get a lounge to go in before the game, at half time and afterwards, but it doesn't include the dining options that some of the packages have.
