“What the club had was a lease on some rather dingy little offices and a shop."

The man really is a tosser. Its so bad that you desperately still want it even though "you have moved on" and "it has dingy little offices and a shop" the man really is a class A prick.

I wouldn't mind the above quote if they were actually building a new stadium btw even though it wouldn't be true as its a fantastic arena but at least it would hold some truth from his and sisu point of view.

Good, now we just need Sisu/OEG/SBS&L to hand over the cash to ACL and there's no risk to our Golden Share. That is unless Sisu manage to do a deal with the league to avoid it.

I love how his snidey comment is more annoying than what appears to be the club being overcharged for years.

Problem is Hill people don't want to see that, they only look for the obvious which unfortunately Mark Labovich doesn't do any justice in covering up..

It annoyed me too to be fair. A needless little dig that helps nobody.

2 points:

1. This money was cashed in 30th Jan along with LC money so that's over a million quid there that could of been for rent effectively?

2. Otium didn't exist while the club were overcharged rates wasn't it sisu? So why was a payment made to otium? (I guess there is a sister company thing or rule)

Wonder why the onus is on ACL to repay? The council collects. business rates on behalf of the VOA.

I wondered that too. Perhaps a clause in the lease with ACL that makes them responsible for any shortfall in rates on behalf of the various sub-tenants (CCFC, Casino etc). Seems odd though, because the VOA has in effect ruled that the rates charged weren't actually due.

I suppose if nothing else it shows that ACL and CCC aren't exactly in cahoots. All we need now is for Higgs to sue ACL, and we'll have the full set court-wise... ;)

Of course it doesn't, I don't condone it one but either, but how much do the Club feel they are owed exactly?

only right that the rebate was made and it should be dated back to the begining, just leaves a sour taste that the chance of the owners paying their debts is ,well lets just say ,wait and see ,told you so. just again puts powder in my gun from the ,<I never wanted to move from HR>, the rent ,the rates ,we were getting ripped of right ,left and centre from day one of the move

By the sound of it, they've already been paid what they're owed, £399,000. They'd like to go back to 2005 from reading that article, but the VOA site seems to rule that out...

http://www.2010.voa.gov.uk/rli/stat...-can_i_appeal_against_the_2005_valuation.html

... still, it wouldn't be SISU if they didn't at least threaten court action, eh.

well if the owners don't pay what they owe and agreed with the league ,and the league stick to their guns and uphold the agreement . now knowing the owners have been paid this rebate ,well if we get sanctioned then it will just show the disregard the owners have for the club and the fans

I think people are bored with the digs every time there is a press statement from both sides. The quality of the offices is of no relevance at all.

His stupid snidey comment came out the mouth of an arse, but lets face it, it was to be expected, as most the main players from all sides have acted like Grade A tossers at times throughout the demise of our car crash of a football club.

Maybe not a million tbf skybluesam but your point is a good one and more money in the coffers and could be spent on the team and a fair rent of 100-150k rent with loads left over for that investment in the team and dare I say it even a promotion? It makes me so sad, angry and frustrated. It just seems so easy to me.

LC - circa 1million
Arsenal game say 250-500k
Cheque paid 399k

All of the above was within a week and its almost 2 million pounds with say the rent free offer or reduced 150k rent then there is a lot to invest and get a good team together instead of spunking it all away. Not to mention increased season tickets sale and merchandise, sponsors....... arrrrgggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

and breathe.

Doesn't seem ACL are too keen to send the cash they owe having illegally charged them since 2005.

The passive acceptance of fans to the council and its quangos desire to rio the club off makes me sick.

That's the caring sharing council for you.

Must make you proud.

How does this work? CCFC Ltd pays the lease/ licence. The remaing assets of CCFC are bought by Otium at the administration. CCFC is now in liquidation. Did Otium buy this outstanding rebate when their bid for Ltd. was accepted? Or should it have gone it into the pot to be paid out to the creditors? In other words, if Otium doesn't have to Pay CCFC Ltd's debts, how can it still get money owed to CCFC Ltd.?
