At least they will have their dance routines mastered for the ball.Nick will be falling over himself to donate to this. He loves nurses, especially in the current climate. He can’t say enough good things about them. It’s, like . Nick, shut up with the superlatives. Nick, why don’t you get a room if you love nurses so much.
Being serious for a moment. A great cause. I believe that the wife donated the petrol money we haven’t spent this week to it. She’s been doing that every week to one charity or another.
All good experience that will look great on their CV.Hi guys,
As you are are all aware with what’s going up at the hospitals I won’t bore you with the stories. But the third year student nurses over at Coventry University have all opted in to go out into the ‘war zone’ off their own backs to help out in our countries fight against the Coronavirus, and its definitely a noble deed by them.

Unless they take five minutes out during a 14 hour shift to do a tiktok in which case all the good is eliminated and they’re just lazy work shy knobheads.Friend works at Warwick uni and all medical students volunteered to work with final year student beginning work early. Absolute superstars
Too be fair the tik tik stuff does annoy a lot of nhs staff as well.

Know for a fact UHCW staff have been told not to post Tik Toks or other social media Nick so you should be happy.

If people didn't take time out at work to do stuff they weren't supposed to this forum would die.
To be fair I am working from home and there's fuck all to do so I am stealing a living at the moment.I'm pretty sure Dave sat in an office looking at a website and arguing with strangers on it isn't the same as people dancing about to rehearsed dance routines in wards and on expensive equipment.
If they want to have a dance, go and blast some tunes out in the staff room and crack a beer at the end of the shift between yourselves and enjoy it. Don't film it to try and get likes and famous off the back of the current praise for the NHS in wards or all over machines etc.

That's the big issue in this crisis isn't it?
Not thousands of deaths, not lack of PPE or tests for targets missed.
You're more worried about a shouty tv presenter and some tik toks!!
Get some PPE out to care homes and people who work in shops etc where it really is lacking. Yes.
Have never said it's the main issue either have I?
Tik Tok is bleedin Chinese though and making a mint. That's the big issue in this crisis isn't it?

And the punters can earn a bit as well
If only we could monetize every interaction in life we may not need to physically produce as much
You seem far more concerned by some shouting and dancing. That's your prerogative. I find it strange.

There’s currently a justgiving page going about helping raise funds for them to have a celebration for when they qualify and finish their courses in the next 6 months.
If any of you are interested in donating then here’s the link
Help raise £5000 to fund a graduation ball for the student nurses of September 17 cohort who have volunteered to join the Covid-19 fight
Feel free to share it on any social media platform.
Thanks guys
ToldWhy don't you lot just have a tik-tok-off.....we'll be the judge, jury & executioners.....but not on this thread as it should all be about this:
NahTold
Arms folded sitting in the corner.lol
Exactly minimum wage care workers fighting coronavirus armed only with a sanitary pad for a face mask and paracetamol don't seem to get the same love.I do feel that although the NHS are obviously doing a good job that there are so many who get overlooked while the NHS love in goes on.

It's the fashionable thing to do now to have a love in for the NHS, people need to love the NHS more and draw a bigger rainbow than the next person.
This is what my daughter's currently doing.
Working 7 days a week at the minute.
My wife is a nurse but she doesn’t like the Thursday clapping for some reason, last night was the first night I could do it as I am normally at work and I found it lovely to see people in our little street coming out and cheering and it nearly made me cry.
Care workers should be part of the NHS. Care in this country is an absolute scandal.

People would rather draw some rainbows and clap than demand politicians fund it properly though just in case they have to give up £30/month of their £80k/year salary.
They used to be employed By local councils until a decade ago.You would think then they have some guidelines.
Those caseworkers who go house to house get absolutely rinsed by the company owners, like slaves.
