I love the attitude of some people on this site!
First it was people moaning disgusting how a club was moved out of the city but then some donkey then seemed to think it was fair to move Nuneaton Borough into the Ricoh (look through the posts... it really is there!!)
Now people kicking off about having to travel about 2 hrs in a car / coach to the Emirates on a Friday Night but in the next breath saying "Why cant Everton travel 3 - 4 hrs down to Stevenage on a Friday night instead!!"
People will STILL go to the game!
Ah, I'm guessing that the people complaining about people complaining about moving the fixture were never actually intending to go to this game. Forgive me if I'm wrong.
As for moving fixtures around, it may indeed be part of the modern game, but does that mean that we need to be good little boys and just take our medicine? Why shouldn't affected fans have a gripe about this?
There's a bit of difference between moving a weekend cup fixture to a Friday, to moving a league fixture to midweek. And it's been a while since I lived there, but getting in and out of London on a Friday used to be a little different to doing it in midweek. The two trains that people can now catch to get back from London after the game will be hideous, I'd guess. And it'll be tight making Euston for 10:30 for the first one, if the queues for the tube after the game are as I recall the last time I went to Arsenal.
And obviously Torch, for every person that could now make it on Friday because they work Saturdays, there will be a whole bunch that will struggle to make it on Friday because they work on that day - like the majority of the working population.
I still think we'll sell out our allocation, or come close to it, but it doesn't make this right, imho. To have a pop at people for complaining, or come out with trite rubbish like 'shit happens' looks a little selfish to me.

CAn't see what all the fuss is about.
Fans (at least those on here) wanted:
Away fixture - check
Big team - check
The allocation will still sell out, we'll have thousands there and the rest can now watch it on the tele.

no one is saying you cant complain, just many people dont agree with you and are fine with the situation
crybaby.
It's a good job we support Cov who this kind of thing happens to not very frequently. Imagine supporting the likes of Man U etc who rarely play a Saturday game

Crybaby? Seriously.
What does that make you mate? Oooh, please don't complain about the fixture being moved, waah waah. I'm worried might not get to watch it on TV, and my mummy's promised me I can stay up late.
If you want to argue the point, argue the point. Otherwise you'll forgive me for not bothering to talk to you again.
ahah what a women
when have i complained? i said i understood some fans frustrations but im glad its on telly. thats about as mature as you can get
your the one who implied anyone who watched it on telly has a fat arse remember, and the fact you find it so hard to get time to socialise with your mates saddens me but you dont seem like a nice chap anyway kiddo
you wanna argue with me go ahead but get ya facts right crybaby
"ahah what a woman". Seriously mate, get a yourself a girlfriend, a life, leave the wind-ups to the people who are good at it, and leave the intelligent arguments to the grown ups.
Anyway I'll end this now, I refuse to have a battle of wits with an unarmed man.*
*That's a famous quote by the way - you could use it yourself, but I wouldn't bother until you can read without moving your lips. It would just be embarrassing. Kiddo.
Bye.
i cant believe me eyes here.. are people really having handbags over this.
i stopped coming on here a while back as reading the rubbish that is spouted between the same clubs fans, was worse than watching my 7 year old son & his mates arguing about match attacks.. and its all faceless ness one upman ship.. i bet half of you are probably know each other in real life, but you wouldnt know it because you hide behind usernames , when your having your stand offs
we have one little ray of sunshine & something to get excited about - playing the premier league leaders away at one of the best stadiums in europe - and there are still those on here that find things to argue about... with each other - which will solve what.. absolutely nothing!!
some of the drivel im ready on here is literally toe curling!!
I was actually worried about this game being on Saturday, seriously worried. I have not (tickets and merchandise) and do not want to put money in the SISU coffers and thus I was tempted to go to Arsenal but now its on telly, happy days and I have BT. This is by no means making fun of those who wished to go but can no longer go, had this been a different scenario I would have been pissed off too. I still believe we will sell our end out but with more fans that just go once in a blue moon (even without the nopm campaign). PUSB

It surely has to be happy days then pleasing majority of fans - serious
