I'd say their performance levels when they have played is the reason why they haven't played more.Haji Wright has played 90 mins once. Simms zero times. Godden nine times. Can we stop pretending that a call to dial down Goddens playing time and dial up the £20m of strikers time is an unreasonable ask?

Got to be the same XI as Saturday

Only if and when they are better than what we have. No sign of that so far as far as I am concerned.I think we’ve got to take the training wheels off a bit and if we’ve bought Kitching and Wright for lots of money we must be planning to play them eventually as first choice, surely?

Allen would be much better than Eccles next to Sheaf. Saturday showed us how much we have missed him.McFadzean for Kitching and either Palmer or Simms for Allen.

I suspect there's a lot of work going in to Wright up at Ryton, he'll get the start when Robins is happy with what he sees in training.
Robins is usually very loyal to a starting XI that wins the previous game.Got to be the same XI as Saturday
I question why you think we will "get spanked by Norwich"? Is it because of their away record this season . I so keep in mind they lost 6-2 in their last one or because our recent record against them .We have won more head to head games .Back to back wins would be massive formthis team right now. And I expect us to get spanked by Norwich so needed before the break too.
6 would be better. We have not lost at home this season I would hope for 2 wins.It should be the same starting lineup as QPR. Need to take advantage of Blackburn’s poor form with a win. 4 points from these two home games would be a very good return.
Id say you can’t judge a player if you never give him a full game. If we think Wright and Simms are worth what we’ve paid for them you’ve got to give them time together.
He was so effective cos of his movement at AM, not sure if he’d do as well at CM. I thought second half we started to see a bit more of what Eccles can do progressively. The guy was top scorer for the U23s, he must have more in his locker.
Edit: that said, obviously I’d be looking to replace him with a new signing in Jan asap.
Completely agree, nothing against Godden but does he really need to play every minute of every game? Just 15 mins of Simms and Wright together would be good to see, even if it’s to give Godden a rest, we’ve got 3 games in 1 week, don’t see why Godden has to play every minute tbh.Haji Wright has played 90 mins once. Simms zero times. Godden nine times. Can we stop pretending that a call to dial down Goddens playing time and dial up the £20m of strikers time is an unreasonable ask?
B more than happy with 20000 midweekTicket sales not looking great. Quite a bit lower than Huddersfield.
Got to remember that the Godden love-squad will fight to the death to get him in the team, if there’s any minuscule ounce of a reason to play him they’ll be up for the fightFine

Always been mystified by the 'earn the right to play' statement. How does that work in reality? I get training hard and showing your ready, but in reality if the team keeps winning and the manager is loyal to winning sides (which most are) it's hard to earn the right while sat on the bench and what your really waiting for is a bad result or an injury or suspensionYes absolutely.
Long term I’m sure the plan is for Wright to play over Godden and Kitching to play over Fadz, but right now the incumbents deserve their shirt and the new guys need to earn the right to play, regardless of price tags.

Marrakesh fabulous, Tarazhout not so much. Endless hassle. Haven't been since the early 80s however so may be ok now. Stayed in a fabulous place owned by two British gay guys. They took credit cards there in Morocco when they said a what in Lincolnshire? so hopefully a stream for you.Cool, we’re all over the place then, cos I’m in Marrakesh until tomorrow then moving down to Tagazhout on the coast, so missing the next two games
