The disgrace of the recruitment is that Van Erwijk can put in performances like that, knowing that there is noone to replace him. Collins hopefully will be dropped and Torp to come in for Eccles, who has been very poor since signing a new contract.

We desperately need 2 CB’s and a LB in January. It’s more important than a CM
Sure but last season we had a good defence up until the last few games , which also included thomas so we have to say that maybe there are bigger concerns ? Sheaf off form not covering the back line very well etc etcJust an immense frustration as he starts almost all our attacks and is frankly lazy on the ball. Defensively he is part of a defence that’s let in 2 goals in 6 of the last 7. I’m not sure there’s much more analysis needed.
