Eccles looked lost in his role.
For this tactic to work it really needs the midfielders to advance the ball forwards. That means swivelling on the ball or turning into space etc. few times we did that first thalf we got into dangerous positions quickly. Hardly happened second half

Lampards only had 2 sessions. I'm sure none of the players are doing their role to his liking yet. Hopefully we see improvement shame by game but this wasn't the worst starting point imo

99% of his passes are the same safe ball to the full back or the other centre back, he doesn't try to pass through the lines as much as Kitching doesBecause binks can pass a ball is why I reckon they keep picking him
