Fair, I disagree.
Granted the whole performance was poor but please tell me what BTA contributed last night . He just isn't good enough.Stand by what I said. Some people just need somebody to moan about.
If you can't see the value in a player that does not stop running and pressing then that's on you.
I feel like player wise we have another gear. Plymouth are poor and whilst I like Rooney I don’t think he is the man to keep them up.On what basis?
They were defending a lead and could just sit back in numbers.Derby had 3 shots all game. They were as bad as we were. Neither side deserved the win.
To be fair he can’t use his pace which is his best asset when we didn’t play any through balls at all.Granted the whole performance was poor but please tell me what BTA contributed last night . He just isn't good enough.
Easy to discount but Derby reminded me of how we use to be a couple of seasons back. Strong in defence, well organised and quick on the transition. Think they’ll be fine this yearThey were defending a lead and could just sit back in numbers.
They came with a plan and it worked.
We didn't have a plan.

'Our day' is interesting for this team.I feel like player wise we have another gear. Plymouth are poor and whilst I like Rooney I don’t think he is the man to keep them up.
Derby are a limited side who have just been promoted and are similar too how we operated. I think they’ll stay up, I just think we’ve got more about us on our day
‘These players need to realize this league is unforgiving and they haven’t cracked it’'Our day' is interesting for this team.
What sparks us into playing with tempo?
Wright being on it and in the mood playing on the left?
Saka playing in front of MVE, cutting in with crosses and shots?
They're the only real sparks in the team I think.
Otherwise it's reacting to being in the relegation zone or like which is a bit sad. It would be better if they were really motivated to get on the top 6!
I think if you’re going to look at the root issue you have to accept things like last night will happen but you have to do better and deal with the situation. There will always be mistakes, bad decisions etc. Our problem seems to be once these things happen we don’t have the self confidence, grit, whatever you want to say to pull our socks up and fight our way out of the situation. Those two wins and the 3 game unbeaten streak, have earned him more time as far as I am concerned.
Tonight was a disaster, but it all came down to an awful mistake and a heavy deflection.
He deserves more time. He's earned it.
As I said earlier, I think that without that Rudoni suicide pass and gift, I believe we would have gone on to win that game.
Only usWith that performance our of the way I'm looking forward to Sunderland. I can see a convincing win. City 3-1
This is from a few pages back but is driving me utterly insane. How are we so bad at throw-ins? Whoever is taking it, the other players stand there staring at them like they've just grown antlersEqually as infuriating is the throw in situation. Can't remember who was taking it but there was absolutely no movement whatsoever and thought he was just going to throw to a derby player out of frustration.
But that feeds into it doesn't it. It's not a distraction.Focusing on linesman decisions is a distraction from the overall performance.
Their plan worked though because we gifted them a goal. They were defending a lead and could just sit back in numbers.
They came with a plan and it worked.
We didn't have a plan.
That happens when you are chasing games. Especially at home.
They broke forward and put Rudoni under pressure. That was the plan sit back and break occasionally. It worked.Their plan worked though because we gifted them a goal.
Yeah it does but it still happened and shows how impactful the second goal was on the result. That happens when you are chasing games. Especially at home.
Did they look like scoring? Dovin had nothing to do all night. They broke forward and put Rudoni under pressure. That was the plan sit back and break occasionally. It worked.

Bottom line in all this is, we gifted them a goal and the second was a horrible deflection from a player who was offside.
Derby came here for the draw, in the hope they would get a chance to sneak a win.
I don’t know if this team or MR knows how to win ugly games. Seems like they are set up to play one way only. The worst aspect of our team is how vulnerable we are at the back. I’d much rather scrape 1-0 wins like Millwall than have to score 3 goals in order to win ( which has happened in all our wins this season). Think this mini revival of ours was yet another false dawn.In fairness, I liked how Derby scrapped for everything, and ran all night. They might be limited, but I'd like to see some of that spirit in our lot.
There's more than one way to win a game, and I'm with Robins on this, they deserved it. I hope it's a lesson that we learn from.
If we play like that against Sunderland he has to go
Robins got done tactically and the team formation was completely wrong.
Saka and MVE came to life when Saka was moved wide right.
Torp is a much better no 10 where he can pass and shoot.
Wright is much better on the left than down the middle.
Rudi isn't a wing back JDS is.
Why didn't Sheaf or Eccles come and get the ball from Thomas on the half way line when they backed off. Do you expect a centre back to thread a ball through a packed defence or run through?
