I’m not at all saying he’s a corrupt lineo, just that he made a serious error. It looks comfortably out of play. Was right at the other end so I’ve absolutely no idea!
You’ll notice the one defender who puts his hand up and the keeper were everyone else followed their lead
I prefer to believe the independent unbiased professional with the flag than the Plymouth players who’ve conceded a goal and also think he’s more likely correct than them
Having said that if he’s had a bet on a 1-0 or any evidence is available to suggest his bias and corruption then id listen again
Id like to think I’d feel the same the other way around - I wouldn’t !!
Come on it’s not along the line
If it was the bloke needs an eye test and he should apologiseI’m not at all saying he’s a corrupt lineo, just that he made a serious error. It looks comfortably out of play.
Maybe but not from the picture you’ve sharedIt's out Pete, bad error by the official. I couldnt care less, his mate on the opposite side should have flagged for a pen first half so swings and roundabouts
I'm assuming you are a parody account? So much wrong - you’ve listed three things, two of which I disagree with and one is yet to be proved…
Allen was poor tonight, he wasn’t all over the pitch and didn’t make many runs in behind if any, he gave the ball away so many times and was always a yard off the pace - I agree though that he did track back well at the end and nicked the ball before their player got there, but that’s one thing over 90 minutes;
Tats was playing with a knock, but he still was looking effective, however the goal came from MVE who was on the pitch from the start, and at the time O’Hare was drifting to the left and looking for the ball more - what I assume you didn’t see was that after Tats went off there was little cover on that side coming back for MVE….?
…and for all his good points, Robins has never understood when to make a change and who to take off / bring on, it’s been criticised for seasons, so it hasn’t just happened! like I said, I’m reserving judgment because I’m not sure if the Millwall game was a one off rather than the start of turning the corner, and this hasn’t done much to convince me otherwise, but a win is a win and there are some positives
Boosh.I'm assuming you are a parody account?
Yeah, it's nuts.Let's be honest, for decades that was universally accepted as out of play, then we had that silly arc of the ball bollocks at the world cup and now people are debating incidents like this!
By the same reasoning he can because if MVE is clearly off the pitch and the ball is obscured by him, it must be as well. The Japanese one shouldn't have been allowed in the World Cup either.
It's all gone micro-millimetric mad.
I can't see any official body apologising for that last night. It was just an error and my guess is the assistant's view was blocked a little by the legs of MVE and their defender. He can't give it as out of play if he can't see it can he.
Anyway, we got lucky, but no apology should be forthcoming.
Thought the Green army were probably the best fans we’ve had at the CBS this season. Vocal throughout and respectful.Hi Argyle Aussie fan here. Hope you don't mind me posting my observations. I'll leave the ref decision aside.
I've seen all Argyle games this season and that was our second worst performance, as all our flair players were off it. In fact I think both teams looked a bit leggy and not on it as maybe Sat/Tues fatigue set in. It was a poor game.
You look very solid, but I was surprised you didn't take the game more to us (aside form first 25 mins), I felt you are set up to not concede rather than dominate games. Your midfield is solid and strong and your Japanese player is quality (why did you take him off?). Comparing you vs other teams, at the moment you look like you are in the 6th - Mid table bracket. Better than Brum, Preston etc. I think you just need a bit more pace up top to feed off Wright (who looks like he could be a 10m player sometime and a 500k player the other, but he will improve I reckon). Best sides we have played this season have been Leeds (lost 2-1), Sunderland (won 2-0), Boro (drew 3-3), Hull (1-1) good on their day and West Brom (0-0) are boring, dull giants, physical but effective. Saints (lost 2-1) are a poor man's Man City and Ipswich (lost 3-2) who while slick and good at attacking I think will drop off. You have a good chance against them Saturday, and you will score against them. Leicester are only top side we still need to play. Huddersfield (won 3-1) and Millwall (somehow we lost 2-0) are worst sides we've seen but not played Rotheram or QPR yet.
I was supporting you guys last season and so sorry you missed out on promotion. You look like you are in the stages of rebuilding this season, a bit more zip and adventure and I can see you top 6.
We were off it today normally we are much more fluid and have more chances but we just need to stay up and build next season and improve our squad. We run a sustainable model so our wage bill is tiny but the club are so well run (proper community club) and our manager is tactically up there with best and a great bloke too. If he can replicate Robins we'll be happy. Good luck for the season, you guys have had a tough time with owners, stadium issues, keen to see clubs like yours and ours succeed vs so many of these other poorly run clubs.
Think it was Hull?Home against Preston last season I think?
Said elsewhere but you look very much like us first season up, it might get a bit close for comfort but you’ll be fine and will push on next season. If we can bring 1500 down to Home Park for the return leg I’ll be impressed!Hi Argyle Aussie fan here. Hope you don't mind me posting my observations. I'll leave the ref decision aside.

That would be guesswork though would'nt it? Assumption.Yeah, it's nuts.

There's a severe dearth of final 3rd quality in this league this season.

Don’t know where to put this, so here will do:
Godden completed 5 of 11 attempted passes in 80 mins.
Nor me
So close
The 4-3-3 system has worked at turning around our form, but we gave up a fair few chances last night, and against Millwall on Sat.
Going to a bang in form Ipswich on Sat, on a ground we've never done well at, I would consider moving back to a wing back system, and a box midfield.
Collins
Thomas Fadz Kitching
MVE Dasilva
Sheaf Eccles
Allen Sakamoto

From that angle, it looks like it could be out of play, but it's hard to be certain. You would need a view along the line or goal-line technology to be sure. It also looks like the players' legs would have blocked the lineman's view so he would have to guess if it was in or out. And not easy in real-timeI’m not at all saying he’s a corrupt lineo, just that he made a serious error. It looks comfortably out of play.
We were shipping goals until we went with 4 at the back and have 3 clean sheets in a row since. I really hope we don't.The 4-3-3 system has worked at turning around our form, but we gave up a fair few chances last night, and against Millwall on Sat.

Managed to watch most of the game last night and thought the following:
* The goal did look like it came from the ball being out. That said, it's hard to definitely say without a 'down the line' view. Although the linos were pretty poor all game, it's hard to blame them for that one as his obstruction would've been be blocked by the players. Not sure how the refs view was though.
* The 3 lads we've got from Barnsley (well, one from Burnley but you know what I mean), all seem to be developing into a strong and impressive unit at the back. Kitchings presence and range of passing is great.
* I thought Bidwell was quietly excellent last night. Some great deliveries into the box - he's definitely preferable to Da Silva.
* Really pleased for Wright. Yes he makes some what look like simple errors but he's still very early on in his Cov career and Gyo took ages to get proper firing for us. If you'd have said at the start of the season that he'd have 5 goals from his first 10 games, we would've taken it.
* Gooden was quiet and ineffective last night. But he's still a goal threat when he's got a chance. Just an off night from him last night. I'd keep the same starting line up on Saturday as Ipswich. We've got two wins with that line up so assuming Tats is ok, I'd go with the same again.
* I don't get the 'happy for CO'H to go in January' malarkey. I get the contract situation but that aside, he was quite clearly and important part of our team before he got injured. He's not going to be up to speed for a couple of months (at least). He's a quality player and one we should most definitely be looking to tie down on a new contract.
Lol I love how you keep saying you were in line with it like an old blokes view from the stands is somehow definitive versus all of the camera angles being debatedI was in line with it - it was over the line and everyone was assuming it wouldn’t be allowed
The linesman was hopelessly poor all game
I don’t understand why fans desperately try and justify clearly awful decisions when they go for us and try and justify the other way round when they go against us - we’d be very angry if that was the other way round
