Rob gurney was saying he doesn’t understand how he can go from derby to Sunderland in half a week
I was thinking derby was probably how he gains the confidence and fitness to do just that
Yeah I heard that too but I try not to pay too much attention to him.

It would be interesting to know how the non-physical support the players get these days is helping to improve their performance. Heard an interesting piece on the BBC about how a sleep coach had helped Brentford captain Christian Norgaard. It’s one thing being back to physical fitness isn’t it? Perhaps another thing to overcome the fear of another injury, relish the pressure on you to score or make saves again etc. I find it all really interesting and I’d love to hear more about it from the club, confidentially aside obviously. Still buzzing from yesterday!

Earlier in the season many on here blamed it for our poor form yet are now weirdly silent.

Weird how many people are banging on about that Derby game. If it was the norm, sure it was shite... but in the context of the run we've been on who cares? We've proved already just one game later that it was just a bad day at the office.

That turn and ball through by Torp for the 3rd goal is premier league quality

The Derby pitch was literally a quagmire - even Bidwell couldn’t keep the ball - Simms had two gorillas sitting in his back most of the time - it just wasn’t to be
